The place is not bad, the only thing, or it was very expensive. Or the person at the checkout communicated! For a bottle of non-alcoholic beer a couple of packs of chips and something else. I took 50 euros. The prices are a little high let's say!

I visited this place that is a haven for people working on the ships that come into Avonmouth & Portbury docks. These seafarers work away from home for nine out of 12 months to support their families. They are key workers, providing us with many of the things we take for granted.

They come from all over the world and get just a few hours of shore leave. Adrian, Steve and the team do a fantastic job of making them welcome and comfortable and give the technology they need to make contact with their families.
