It's lovely to see how The Very Green Grocery is reducing food waste and helping the environment. Their volunteers are friendly and guided me when they heard it was my first visit. Make sure you take at least two big grocery bags when you visit.

I can't rate this place enough. The staff are absolute legends, especially Rachel who my 3 year old absolutely loves to bits. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the support they provide alongside the food is second to none. They always have time for everyone and anyone regardless of their personal circumstances. A member of staff said to me they don't care whether you turn up barefoot or in a Bentley, everyone is welcome.

Everyone involved should be really proud of themselves.

If your thinking this is a Food bank ...your wrong. Cheshire hub are reducing food waste from supermarkets ending up in landfill.

If you've never been well get yourselves over there. There are a group of really welcoming staff and volunteers always willing to help.

Parking... now please don't park on the main road. It causes issues for everyone from traders, residents and people driving by. It you take the turning next yo the hub you will find plenty of parking available. Someone is about to direct you if need be.

Now first timers will need to register and you get a membership number. Then on you visit to the hub you pay £4 and big along 2 sturdy shopping bags.

The ladies and gents will guide you around and help fill your bags to the brim.

Then why not stop for a coffee and a chat.

I must admit I miss the Monday sessions but I try to visit when I can.

Great place, friendly staff/volunteers, lot's of food for not much money. Went late so not as much choice but still did ok. Will be going again. Remember to take your own carrier bags.

Absolutely amazing place. They take all the waste food from places like Morrisons and either distribute to needy people of sell it in the Poo up shop for a basic fee. I volunteered for the morning and will definitely be going again. Fab cause, really friendly volunteers. Get yourself down there and lend a hand. Bookma slot through Eventbrite. Look for Cheshire food hub.
