Stopped down here on my way to cosmopolitan London - staff were polite and courteous, however this was my first sampling of McDonald's breakfast; a tad disappointing, however I am affirmative that this was not due to the staffs incompetency - fabulous service from Sue.

P.S. This review was initially intended with the bar of a three star (out of the available five stars). In contrast, upon trying the hot chocolate at Staffordshire services in close proximity to the M6 toll junction, my entire outlook on Staffordshire services in close proximity to the M6 toll junction has been positively affected, resulting in my epiphany, deciding on 4 stars out of 5.

Stopped twice this weekend.
On both occasions M6 toll was very quite so the services were not busy.
Plenty of parking.
Drive-through Costa was not operating on both times.
On late (11:30pm) visit only the McDonalds was really operating but the place was tidy and toilet clean.
On evening stop the next day (6pm) shop and all restaurants were open.
We grabbed food at Leon. Tables were clean (floor less).

A great and convenient pit stop on the M6 toll road.
This service station is an ideal place to stop when travelling on the M6. It has a large car parking capacity and hotel as well as a petrol station although no Tesla supercharger unfortunately.
There are several fast food outlets including McDonald’s (where I stopped for a burger meal) a LEON, COCO and a Costa Coffee which is currently being renovated but still open.
There is also a Fresh Food Cafe and a SPAR grocery store for convenience but I didn’t visit these today.
There is a large shared dining area for the restaurants which were clean and functional.
I was impressed that the toilets were very clean as well because it is a busy Motorway Service station so the staff obviously work hard to keep them tidy.
Overall, Norton Canes is a great place to stop, eat and rest on your journey.

Decent McDonald’s from here. Loads of lorry parking, never boy got a space on here. Very busy services. Lots of different food places to choose from as well. Prefer to go here then the normal services on the motorways, doesn’t seem as hectic.

This services never seems super busy. Toilets are always clean and never a queue. Food offerings are good, with McDonalds and Leon being the main two. Both are same prices as elsewhere. Points off for WHSmith which is a rip off pricing. Avoid that shop at all costs. Pure daylight robbery.

I very much enjoyed my costa coffee experience Norton Canes.
The young lady who served me (SHAN) made a lovely observation and comment which I very much appreciated.
It is nice to see well trained and confidence staff even when it was very busy.

Nice facilities with a good choice of food and drink vendors.

Road signage wasn't brilliant and finding the exit was not as easy as it might have been. Having said that I was tired so maybe it was just me.
