I started out as a quiet member of Sean's Place with a limited guitar playing ability. I'm now a more experienced guitar player who regularly hosts quiz nights on a Tuesday for other members, and I'll shortly be starting training to become a CBT mentor.

Not only has Sean's Place helped in turning my mental health into something more manageable, it has also helped me become a more confident and outgoing person.

Sean's Place is a brilliant support network of people who start out as volunteers and members, but quickly become like family and friends.

Sean's place has had a major impact locally & supported so many men with mental health problems. Its amazing how close they have all become, like one big family. There are so many things to do & various activities. Also just being able to chill & chat to others. To hear some of the guys speak about how low they were, that they were considering ending their own lives, then to see how Sean's place has given them hope & a reason to live. Debbie & Mandy are so highly appreciated by these guys, they go above & beyond to support every single member. Well done to everyone at Sean's place

Would not recommend Sean’s place to people who suffer with mental health as I went for one meeting with them and within the first 5 minutes I had comments made about my appearance, I suffer with terrible anxiety and depression and made the staff aware of this but still the woman who interviewed me made comments about me looking older then her even though I was 10 years younger which made me overthink how I look and now that is another issue that is stuck in my head. Very unprofessional for the comments made towards me and for some reason I kept being told about going fishing with them. I suffer with overwhelming anxiety and depression and have suicidal thoughts but for some reason fishing was the most mentioned topic in the 15 minutes I was there.
