Flynn had his first stay at Love of Dogs and he enjoyed every minute. The staff and volunteers are all brilliant and clearly love their jobs and the dogs they care for. The photo updates showed how much my dog enjoyed his time there. Flynn is a reactive rescue dog, he can be a bit unsure of the world at times but he immediately fell in with the staff and enjoyed spending time with them all. They will be my first choice for boarding moving forward

We recently left our three dogs at Love of Dogs Boarding Kennels in Laughton for 9 days while we enjoyed a family holiday abroad, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Our dogs had a fantastic time, almost like they were on their own holiday! They had access to plenty of outdoor space, including a dedicated play area and woodlands, which kept them entertained and happy.

Having previously used Love of Dogs for dog training, we already trusted Danielle and her team to provide top-notch care and they certainly lived up to our expectations. The team took excellent care of our boys, ensuring they felt comfortable and well-loved throughout their stay. We also received regular video and photo updates, which reassured us that our dogs were having a blast!

The entire experience was smooth and we returned to three happy, healthy dogs. We genuinely could not recommend Love of Dogs Boarding Kennels more highly. If you’re looking for a caring, reliable, and enjoyable place for your dogs to stay, this is the one!

We dropped off Axel for his induction day and Danielle and Marcus instantly put Axel and more so us at ease. With updates and photos it was wonderful to see how well he was settling in. Infact when Danielle left to get his bed and toys on collection. He wanted to go with her rather than stay with us. We knew then we have found the perfect people and kennels for Axel. The time they spend interacting, the varied play areas for mental stimulation and the planning to cater for each animals needs is amazing. We feel truly blessed to have found you. Axel slept all day he had the best time

I cannot speak highly enough of the experience we have had boarding our two dogs with Danielle and the Love of Dogs team. One of our dogs, Daisy, is a rescue and dog reactive, so when we wanted an abroad holiday I was incredibly anxious about finding someone to look after her and our other dog Burt. We had already done the LOD reactive training so knowing that this amazing team also can offer kennels and boarding was such a relief. Daisy & Burt have stayed twice now and it genuinely feels like they have a holiday too! Plenty of training and activity to keep them busy, lots of love and fuss so they don’t get stressed and complete sensitivity around ensuring that they don’t get stressed by (or cause stress to) other dogs by ensuring that they are taken out separately, and cannot see other dogs as they walk past the kennels. The setting of LOD is a complete haven with acres of woodland and plenty of completely secure areas where the dogs can go off lead. An absolute treat for a reactive dog with minimal recall! Danielle is also fab, sending us photos, videos and updates so we can see them enjoying themselves without it. We’re already booked for next year and love that we can now holiday without worrying about our fur babies.

Love of Dogs Training and Boarding is simply wonderful. The setting is amazing and the staff so welcoming, warming and friendly. I was nervous to leave my two dogs as they are only young and it was the first time in kennels. But the staff reassured me and I received daily updates on the puppies adventures. Quite clearly I was worrying about nothing and the dogs had a great time. So much so that when the puppies arrived for their second stay, they were excited to see the staff and were happy to leave us. I would highly recommend Love of Dogs Training and Boarding….💕

They were patient and understanding of all Marley’s needs & were honest about any behaviours. Amazing updates! Marley looked as happy playing with the ladies there as he is at home with me. After a day trial and a weekend stay Bhuna has just spent 9 days here at love of dogs . He’s had an amazing time and he looked really healthy when we picked him up , he clearly loved everyone there ( especially Marcus ) . It great to feel at ease going on your holidays and to not fret about our dogs . Danielle and her team sent photos and kept in touch . Bhuna was one happy boy staying there . Our GSD Thurston went in for a trial night at LoD over the weekend. Danielle and Marcus could not have been better at keeping us updated on how she was and keeping us at ease through the whole process. Thurston came home a very happy and tired puppy from all the running around she got to do!
