This is a majestic old building.. It has many large airy rooms ideal for meetings and activities. A lovely wooden staircase, be-decked by a stain glass window, sweeps up between each flòor. There is ample off road parking.

Nice community centre. Attended a Retro Gaming event on the weekend. The building itself is old so wheelchair access isn't the easiest but it is possible to access different parts from either side of the building.

I visited the building to the rear of the community centre which is your typical uninviting, neglected, gloomy local authority building. There's parking which is good. I have no idea how this building serves the community. Let's just say that I would only visit if I had to. Its depressing and I have sympathy for anyone who has to visit it. Like most of these buildings they're under used and neglected and offer little towards maximising its use to serve the community by way of offering an improved quality of life. Let's see what the future holds now that the lockdown is eased. But I'm pessimistic as councils are rarely motivated towards doing what's best for local people.

I've visited only the Johnson hall which is a basic building suitable for meetings. The parking is rather big for such place.
