The lady Jean who runs this Day centre is very demanding Especially with my mother who has appointments on the Monday when the day centre opens She demands my Blind Mother To stop going to the appointments as she wants mum to go to centre Also we are both Diabetics and Blind in both eyes is Mum and I'm blind In one eye I have a benign fat mass Tumour attached to vital Organs and is very rare Coupled with pain ful sores which are going duue to large tumour which over stretches the skin And is very rare 11 people I am in the world with this I have letters from Royal Marsden Hospital London to prove This Jean the manager of The day centre says to Me that this is all in My mind saying that I make all this up So if this is the case my blind eye and mum's blind eye is all in The mind Then Why do we go to a day centre with partially sighted People I find this very discriminating and I will go to a high court to fight against this Also I was always put in a car to be picked up as the seat belt fitted and now I'm being forced by Jean to travel in a minibus with then blind people who travel in it and because of the seat belt doesn't go round me because of tumour If there was to be an accident with me not wearing a seat belt I can see there being a heavy fine for the centre for allowing a person with my disability to travel with Out a seat belt This I think They are breaking the law I'm expected to travel in a taxi times To the centre as vehicles packed and I'm funded to go to day centre to include pick in day centre costs which are funded and yet I do not getReimbursed my money when I pay for carers who come to me from a care Agency and facing high Electricity bills because of the high energy costs If I can't pay these I could have to live in the dark no food And drink it would not be fair with my disability I feel the taxi fares should be paid back Every other week Jean vtajes us all out for lunches to various places even in pouring rain and freezing conditions We are all vulnerable people who could go down with pneumonia Or chest infections or Hypothermia This Really could be dangerous I think this should be looked binto the way this day centre is run
