The staff in Emmanuel House were terrible, the service they provide for the homeless is good but it was sad to see members of staff laugh at my missfortune.
And I saw it happen to others.
My mental health needs were not taken into consideration.
They had no understanding or empathy I was treated badly.
Unbeliveble & Shocking.

This place is just fantastic and does a wonderful job caring for those less fortunate in our local community. They have been going a large number of years and still continue the great work. I have just dropped off a good collection from my amazing team at TK MAXX and HOMESENSE NEWARK and I urge anyone reading to do the same.

A truly great charity helping the vulnerable and the home less at a grass root level. Not just a place to eat and meet but also a place to find answers to questions on just about anything. Brilliant staff who really care.......

Emmanuel house staff are inconsistent in the provision of good care for clients. They are occasionally prejudiced against individuals from specific backgrounds. This is very difficult and painful to watch occur. Clients are safer attending other services for homeless individuals within the nottingham community until this proclivity on the part of the staff has been modified. I am saddened to say the president has thus far been unable or unwilling to assist his staff in overcoming them. It is my hope that perhaps this will change in future, but for the time being this is a charity best avoided.
