I have visited the service a number of times as an education professional. Always a pleasant welcome, with a drink and a lovely piece of cake. The home itself is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The Manager, Deputy and receptionist very approachable and professional. All the Resdisnts appear well supported. 5 star Home!

A beautiful caring home. Residents are treated in a person centered way. Management are very supportive to staff and have an open door policy to everyone. Housekeeping ensures the home is clean tidy and smelling great. Maintenance ensures the home is kept beautiful. All staff from different departments will go out of their way to ensure residents are happy, cared for and enjoy their stay. Residents are part of their family.

I’ve been visiting Acorn Lodge each week for the past two years to run singing and music and movement workshops with the residents. I love visiting this home, it really feels like a community and everyone is welcoming. Staff are always friendly and professional and the residents are wonderful. We always have lots of fun and there is a great sense of well-being among the residents- I very much look forward to spending time with them in their home.

Another visit to my mum.Sat in a beautiful room my mum is poorly but so comfortable. Everything is so perfect the bed and bedding , gentle music in the background calm confident caring staff all around. I couldn't wish for better I am so happy even though my mum is very poorly perfection in so many ways .Thanks Acorn Lodge.
