I booked this venue a year in advance for a 30th birthday party, only to be informed a week before that they had double-booked the room. Originally, we were told we could set up at 2 p.m., but on the day, they delayed us until 5:30 p.m. and the room was left in a mess from the previous event, which we had to clean ourselves. Communication was nearly nonexistent throughout the whole planning process.

To add to the chaos, there was no effort to keep our event separate from the previous one—a funeral. This overlap was poorly managed and led to uncomfortable situations for both groups. I personally felt that this was also incredibly insensitive to the previous event. Despite promising someone would monitor the doors, there was no assistance to ensure privacy or organization.

During our party, staff continuously approached us about settling our bill, which felt incredibly disrespectful considering the earlier mix-up. They seemed more interested in collecting the money than in making sure we enjoyed the evening. I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism and sensitivity shown by the venue. I would not recommend it to anyone.

We were here for a wake. It's a very spacious club with a good variety of beers and wine the bar staff are excellent and the buffet was superb the facilities were spotless. Ample parking. A nice place for a family party

I booked them for my henna night, i was told the bar would be closed for no extra cost. We then get a text after we put the deposit down saying we have to use the bar. We stated before we booked its for religious purposes. The lady then said she don't recall this conversation. This is extremely unprofessional then when i went to collect my deposit back she said to come but didn't turn up. I then called her and texted but she didn't even reply. Don't book this place i would definitely not recommend i will be spreading the word around.

All members are welcome to join any walk which you feel is within your capabilities. Please turn up at the noted meeting place, dressed sensibly for the terrain identified for the walk, i.e. boots or strong walking shoes, waterproofs if necessary, ready to begin the walk at 10.30am. You do not have to ring either myself or the appointed leader to ask if you can come, if I have a contact email address or telephone number, I will let you know if there are changes to the Newsletter. Please note! dogs are not allowed on walks.
