Just been in the Ecco store in Harlow like we allways do ,We was looking through the books we had previously asked one worker how much the books were and was told 50pence .We was approached then by a nice female staff that said they had not been priced up .We explained that we had asked some one and she was ok .Then all of a sudden a very rude Volunteer spoke to us very Rudely,never seen him before I told him you do not speak to customers like this,but he kept on having he's say and being argumentative speaking down to us...We will not be spoke to like that as customers and told him this .But he still kept on having to get the last word in.We bought our books and left after we had words back with .We allways donate to this shop and will continue to do do .I suggest Ecco center you send that volunteer on a customer care course because he has the charisma of Victor Meldrew !!!

Very nice store. And staff are always polite and supportive. I have noticed that some people complained about all sorts of things. You're the ones who donating so don't bring rubbish! It's annoying sometimes because rather than take rubbish to skip, people donate to the store. The only one negative is that it is sometimes very dirty in the store.

Great charity shop lots of choice in a large flat space. Delivery not an issue and at reasonable rates. Seems to have fast turnover of products plenty of sofas and 3 piece sets, dressers and bookcases. Accessibility is easy and convenient with very helpful staff. Pricing very reasonable.

Waste of time, called these guys, they asked my to go to the property and email them pictures of the furniture, I did, they emailed back saying furniture looks great please call to arrange collection, I did, they then turned up and said we don't take brown furniture ! but what are you doing with the brand new sofa !
I said the furniture was brown in the pictures I emailed as reqested and you emailed back to say you would collect them.

Waste of time, very quick to spot things they do want while they are there though.

Wasted 2 hours of my time and made me visit a property that is hard for me to go to, my late mothers.

From the initial phone call to a few more calls adding a few more items to be collected and up to the point of collection. I have to say these guys are polite, friendly and great to have a conversation with. Thank you again for receiving my items.
