This is a voluntary non-profit organisation and therefore can not rate anything other than 5 Stars.

The Lifeboat Station is an interesting and realist depiction of the brave work these men and women do on a daily basis. It gives a timeline of the station and how it works today and finish through the small gift shop.

There is no expectation to give money or sign up for direct debts which I like. I would recommend a visit.

Great little lifeboat station with a walk around the Shannon Lifeboat and slars.

A good bit of history on the station walls about previous boats and crew.

Also the shop staff were polite and informative and the shop had a wide array of items.

Unfortunalty the one item we wanted the Skegness pin badge was out of stock

The lifeboat station is free to enter and there is a viewing platform to see the lifeboat. There’s also a small RNLI shop.

The station is well worth a visit with an inshore and all weather lifeboat .Little pieces of history adorn the walls and a walkway offers a great view of the lifeboat, there is also a little shop.Come visit on a practice day as the launch and recovery of a Shannon class lifeboat really is something to see.Toilets and refreshments are close by.
