I have had the most unfortunate experience dealing with Mr Antony Berg. Not only did he act solely on the instruction of my business partner (male)when valuing our joint 50/50 business, he did so completely without my knowledge whilst he knew there was an ongoing directors dispute. That same valuation was later used to secure a sale of all my company assets (without my knowledge)and to add insult to injury, Mr Berg was instructed by my business partner (male)to retain the proceeds of that sale and not to allow me (female) access to my own company funds.

Mr Berg didn’t establish a true valuation of the business as he did not have all the information he needed to do so and deliberately excluded me from any communication to retrieve that information while colluding with my business partner to ensure I was not privy to any negotiations. This in turn affected the value of the business.

I am a 50% share holder and director of the company yet Mr Berg insisted he would only take instruction from my business partner (male) and not from me. (Female) I would not recommend this firm to any company. On sending a formal confidential complaint letter, Mr Berg then shared the contents of that letter with an unrelated third party via email, after telling me he didn’t have time to respond to my complaint as he was on holiday.

Extremely unprofessional and quite frankly holding a company’s funds and refusing to release them because one director (male) has told you to ignore the other director (female) is in fact unlawful. Mr Berg later agreed to return the company funds but only if I withdrew my complaint. Once again demonstrating a lack of integrity and professional standard.

The sale of my company assets has left me without a business and income overnight. Mr Berg has played a significant role in the matter right from his first interaction with my business partner by deliberately excluding me from all communication with regards to a valuation as well as not carrying out a full valuation he has impacted the overall sale price achieved.
