My daughter had a very important appointment on the day it snowed I rung the reception and I told her she was seeing community paediatrics she then told me all the appointments were off! Caused massive distress at home for my daughter! I then found out the appointment wasn’t cancelled when I called back up the receptionist said that I said bladder and bowl….sounds absolutely nothing like community paediatrics! We had missed an appointment we had waited 7 years for and now have to wait a long time for another one! I made a complaint and the receptionist has lied through her teeth to cover her own back! Don’t even bother with this place is a joke she has no idea the last effect this has had and will continue to have so thanks very much!!

I have just returned from having a scan at Okehampton Community Hospital. Easy to park (cheaper than the big hospitals), very pleasant and friendly staff who explained everything that they were doing. In on time and out again 20 minutes later.

Okehampton hospital I spent some time there recovering from a bad motorcycle crash .I found the nurses and staff very helpful and careing well they looked after me very well
