Just don't go there folks...This company is beyond sub standard. Poorly managed, high risk, zero respect for staff, high risk environments where staff assaults can be a daily occurrence. Appalling lack of support, direction or management. You will be on your own and will "set sail on a canoe without a paddle". With Thornbury Community Services "the backside doesn't know what the hand is doing", and that's being polite. Cash in on a permanent package while you can if you are lucky enough to get on one. Then cash out as quickly as possible before you get left hanging. They will recruit for more staff and totally disregard any common sense factors, such as you being fully compliant and living nearby any potential new packages. Don't say you haven't been warned..... I was lucky enough to find another reputable company to go to and get what any health sector employee should expect, respect and be listened to. And Thornbury, before you ask by sending out your usual response email asking for us to contact you at the relevant email address because your take concerns seriously....Please don't bother! I wouldn't give you the time of day, let alone any more of my time and skillset. You are an appalling, money driven, badly managed company. In fact bad in every respect. So just don't bother with that response below. I've only taken the time to hopefully save some potential applicants applicants the time, heartache, stress, disappointment and sadness of going their time and energy of engaging in an appalling recruitment process, to then be treated as some kind of substandard human being. Enough said folks...
