Used children's A&E. Receptionist was helpful despite my many questions, triage staff were lovely and reassuring. Dr and nurses explained things well, great with my daughter to keep her occupied rather than focusing on what was happening. Les was fab. Children's ward staff made our stay less stressful than you imagine. Mollie and Georgia were amazing, Joanne kept my daughter happy and fed. We only had Emma momentarily and she seemed as lovely as M&G above! Drs were informative and approachable. It was clean. Just thanks to all who helped my daughter. Credit where it is due. Can't thank them enough.

Maternity ward nurses are lovely but one of the receptionists is much to be desired. Asked for a pen and you’d think I’d asked her for one of her kidney’s! Passive aggressive on most occasions which puts a dampener on visiting this ward for the health of your baby as she’s the first point of call. Extremely unprofessional and judgmental attitude unfortunately.

Took my daughter for a tooth extraction under GA. From the minute we entered the building I felt at ease. Every member of staff was amazing from start to finish, can’t thank you all enough. Keep doing what you are doing you really make a difference.

Just had a general anaesthetic in Ormskirk Hospital for an operation which was very successful.. great staff, absolutely no complaints.. the toast and butter afterwards was most welcome but the tea does need improvement. A great Hospital.

Completely patronising doctor. Told me it’s normal to get cramps like I was stupid and didn’t know that. Mild cramps are normal for up to a month but had been lucky and experienced none for 2 weeks. The reason I came in is because these cramps came on suddenly and were so severe I saw stars and almost fainted. But they wouldn’t know that because instead of asking me questions they insinuated that I was overreacting and sent me home.
Before I left they asked my partner where I had parked the car like I would have been able to drive after nearly passing out in pain. Just shows how unaware they were.
Typical doctors not taking women’s pain seriously.

Had a reverse shoulder replacement on the 6/1/25, and stayed on ward H, from start to finish my care was amazing! nurses, doctors and the anaesthetist Kingsley, and my consultant Mr Ahuja absolutely incredible!

It’s a week since I’ve had my little boy in Ormskirk maternity unit & it’s not something I would normally take the time out to do I would normally just do word of mouth but I would just like to express how amazing the maternity team have been with me & my experience bringing my son into the world, just the level of professionalism, how calming & down to earth all the doctors & nurses are in there & how they have treated me and my son whilst I was in there was 10/10 absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. It’s something I will never forget and now has a special place in my heart! 💙

I've been a patient here frequently for the last 3-4 years with an extremely rare skin condition . Firstly the dermatology team have been nothing short of amazing and I can't praise them enough from the secretaries to the nurses and doctors . They are truly amazing . Recently I've been also referred to maxillofacial clinic and once again id like to say thank you so much and they are incredible. Today I had a gum biopsy and I was literally terrified but the support they gave got me through it and I'm now glad they were there because I honestly was ready to bottle it . Great team great work . You're amazing ❤️
