It’s a place where conversation flows easily and a sense of community thrives.

Location and Contact Information

The Farmers Club is situated at 65 Burscough St, Ormskirk L39 2EL, United Kingdom. For immediate contact, visitors can reach them directly at 1695572172. While they don’t currently maintain an active website, this phone number is the primary means of communication.

Specialties and Ambiance

The club’s core offerings revolve around its dual nature as both a club and a traditional pub. This combination creates a versatile space suitable for a range of activities. Guests can enjoy a relaxed evening socializing with friends, participate in club-organized events, or simply unwind with a drink and a bite to eat. The building itself is notable – a grand and historic structure, seemingly designed to offer a respite from the everyday. It’s understood that this venue offers a distinctly welcoming environment, prioritizing the comfort and enjoyment of its patrons.

Key Features & What to Expect

  • Distinct Atmosphere: Farmers Club maintains an atmosphere that is both comfortable and traditional, appealing to a wide range of visitors.
  • Social Hub: The club serves as a central gathering point for the local community.
  • Limited Ale Selection: Currently, the club focuses on a curated selection of ales, with Wainwright’s Amber being a prominent offering, favored by the regular clientele.
  • Welcoming to Non-Members: Notably, non-members are warmly welcomed, particularly those interested in sampling the available beers.

Customer Feedback & Reputation

Farmers Club enjoys a strong positive reputation, reflected in its impressive 4.5/5 average opinion on Google My Business. The consistent positive feedback suggests a commitment to providing a genuinely pleasant experience for all who visit. It seems that the building’s impressive architecture and the established community within the club are key factors driving this favorable perception.

It’s recommended that prospective visitors understand that the club’s focus leans towards a traditional experience. While the building itself is a significant draw – an attractive alternative to buildings utilizing RAAC concrete – the ale selection may not appeal to those seeking a vast variety. However, the welcoming atmosphere and the combination of club and pub facilities make Farmers Club a worthwhile destination for those looking for a comfortable and socially engaging evening.

Got to say first of all - non-members are welcome particularly if you’re here for the beer. Only one cask ale on at the mo and that’s Wainwright’s Amber. I’m told that’s what the regulars prefer but how can you guide them to better ales if no there’s are available? A fantastic building that should see all this RAAC concrete out. Take a look at it then get drawn inside - you won’t be disappointed.
