Lovely atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and freshly made to order so you can ask for things to be taken out if you don't like. Reasonable priced. Had a wonderful evening. Would definitely go again.

I hosted an event and while the occasion itself was enjoyable for guests, I was extremely disappointed with the service and lack of cost transparency. Despite confirming details in advance, the food was served late, guests were left without basic tableware, and I was hit with unexpected VAT charges that were never clearly communicated.

To make matters worse, I was publicly confronted by security despite making a substantial initial payment, which was both embarrassing and unprofessional. I reached out to management to discuss these issues, but they have completely ignored my complaint.

For the price paid, I expected a far better experience. I would not recommend this venue to anyone looking for reliable service or professional treatment.

Great menu with lots of options including breakfast till 2. Posh eggs amazing. Fab, friendly service. Would recommend.

There seems to be mixed reviews about this venue but I can only review it as I found it during our visit.
We got the train to Ormskirk to have a few drinks and then have a meal.
I like cask ale so visited one pub with a hand pump but nothing available so came out.
Went to another and ordered a pint of cask ale and sat down.
No heating on in pub and seating slashed and poor toilets,drank up and left.
Went over the road to Lost and Found and what a difference.
Lovely bright interior and a warm welcome from the young man behind the bar.
Chatted to him for a while and settled for a Guinness as no cask ale.
He sat us down at a corner table away from any draughts as it was a cold Monday night.
We ordered hanging chicken skewer and minted lamb pie and mash as recommended by the barman.
Both arrived not long after,well cooked and piping hot.
We couldn't fault the food or service and would definitely visit again.

Lovly time, felt very personal, service was amazing very attentive. People in there/locals i think, very friendly made it a lovly experience. We got steak etc absolutley beautiful, would highly reccomend it, will be back soon thankyou lost n found xx

Booked a table in advance for my "big "birthday booked on line for a table of 10 and actually went in to double check it had gone through and was told it had all was fine . The day before my son phoned to ask if he could bring a cake and some decorations in and was told ."we don't have any reservations booked under that name " luckily he re booked under his name and they were able to fit us in as being a Sunday afternoon thankfully wasn't busy ! This was all unbeknown to me until I got there on the day and saw that we weren't sitting where I had requested .I questioned the person who had taken my booking who told me it was a dodgy booking system on the computer and did apologise profusely when found it on a different page !
I had also booked an afternoon tea for the next day for myself and friends so thought I'd best check that too? The girl there said she'd taken my phone call but it also wasn't on the system and was then told as they weren't busy they had decided to close that day, therefore leaving me with having to find another place last minute to host my birthday afternoon tea with my friends ! Really not impressed by this point !
Service was quite slow even though
it wasn't busy , had to ask for someone to take our drinks orders and was a while before our food orders were taken too also slow to have main dishes cleared away as desserts were being served!
Was really disappointed in the whole procedure as I had told my family how good and nice it was as i had been before as a walk in and all was fine ! If it hadn't been for a special birthday it wouldn't have been so bad but to not have booked the next day either that's just not good enough .so please double check and call to confirm they actually do have you booked as I wouldn't like anyone else to be as disappointed as I was !
On a plus point food was nice but service and especially the booking system really needs to be addressed!!!

arrrived at 6:30 and was seated promptly, had our drink order taken quite quickly.

This is we’re the service went downhill. we were left for 40 minutes without another drink order or our food order taken i had to ask the bar staff to be served (twice this happened) starters and mains we’re both ordered our starters came out quite quickly and were quite nice and generous portions. the mains were both cold and undercooked when sent back they had just microwaved the meals which made them rubbery and inedible.

The service from the staff was awful, some of the staff but not all of them presented rude and awful service.

our table was left with multiple empty glasses on and plates of uneaten food with multiple staff members looking at them and just walking past.

would not return and definitely would avoid it.

I wouldn't go back here again due to poor service. The food looked nice on the menu but wasn't that great. When we got seated, the lady said she would be back to take our drinks but never came back and was waiting a long time. I had to go up to the bar to have someone come and take our order, had to do this twice as no one was around our table to check on us. The football game was on far too loud we couldn't hear each other talk.
