I can’t praise this hospital and their staff enough , from the reception up to the surgeons . I am a unique case so I was seen by about 6 surgeons in a lecture theatre deciding that to do with my shoulder . Within two weeks I had my surgery and the pre op assessment was professional and well thought out . The surgeons are really friendly and I feel they genuinely want to help all patients. This hospital should be used as a yard stick to improve other hospitals in the UK. It’s clean, professional, parking is cheap and they make you feel at ease through out the whole time you spend there . Thank you

The Alice ward was the best I’ve ever been to with my daughter , from the moment I got there everyone went the extra mile to ensure she was looked after. Every nurse was so wonderful, they had a magician who took the children’s mind off of everything and ensured not just her but I was also relaxed and kept up to date with everything. Professional, friendly and caring. not that we want to return but if we ever have to for anything, I hope it’s here

I have just returned home after having a total hip replacement. I would like to say that the whole experience was first class. All staff are so friendly and professional, they cannot do enough for you. The hospital is immaculately run, it is a credit to all who work there. I can’t praise this hospital enough. Every single member of staff I spoke to displayed their core values of friendly, caring, professional, respectful, and excellence. The hospital was also spotlessly clean and the food was really good. A special mention for Sue who took me to theatre, she was amazing. In my opinion the RJAH is the very best NHS care I have ever seen.

Blown away by the level of care i recieved at this hospital.
After having an awful experience at another hospital I really couldn't believe hospitals like this exist. From the moment I arrived the receptionist was super welcoming and helpful. Volunteers walking round again being welcoming and positive.
Appointment was delayed by quite a bit but I was kept up to date constantly on times and asked if I was in pain and needed a bed to lie in or if there was anything more they could do.
Little cafe right next to waiting room so even with the delayed appointment, I had access to food and drink. Also wireless charging ports and sockets all around.
Every nurse who walked past the waiting room said hello and asked how I was.
DR consultant was really kind and welcoming. Very compassionate and explained everything in detail and made sure I could understand.
Just a great hospital. So clean and a great environment. Thank you for making my stay as comfortable as could be.

I had my carpel tunnel surgery done here today. Appointment was easy. Procedure was really smooth. Staff and nurses were attentive and friendly, best of all…great surgeon! Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Waiting room was comfortable. In operation theatre, many nurses were taking care of me and calm me down with cheerful smiles. After operation, while waiting for paperwork, I was served with coffee and sandwiches. I can not thank you enough. I highly recommend this hospital.

Recent visit for a knee replacement. The staff and facilities could not have been better. Col Meyer and his team were absolutely first class. The after care on the ward was brilliant. ‘V’ the attending nurse an Sharron and Matt with assistants could not have done more to make the stay better. Highly recommended.

My mum had an operation on her wrist here yesterday. Could not believe the standard of the hospital or the level of care. We have thankfully not needed too much time in hospitals in the past and listening to the media, it may sound silly, but I honestly did not think hospitals like this existed in our NHS. The hospital was fabulously clean and modern. It was amazing and the nursing staff were all friendly, caring and attentive, as was mum's surgeon apparently. The receptionists greeted us with a smile and the coffee shop and coffee shop lady were a treat not to be missed. In the nicest possible way, I hope we don't need to go again, but if anyone does need to go, I hope your experience is as good as ours. Thank you so much for looking after my mum so well ❤️
