Absolutely shocking, don't even deserve 1star! If you want impartiality go elsewhere, they lie to you over and over again. How they can say they protect children is beyond me, they put children in situations no child should be in. Do they learn from mistakes? Absolutely not! If you need help, go to a solicitor and keep Wigan social services as far a way from your kids as you can.

Social workers protect children and adults with support needs from harm." FAKE. It is an institution causing stress for the whole family. When a child has a bad day and does something against his parents, remember that you can't get rid of them. They can add facts to our situation. If you cooperate, it means you need help, if you don't cooperate and thank them politely, it means you're hiding something. Employee pathology. They are very nice but it's just a pretense so you can't sue them.

An organisation that prides itself on the ruination of families. As individuals and as an organisation they are deceitful, malicious and callous, seeming to take great pleasure in gaslighting caregivers and keen on leaving children in dangerous situations. Condescending and arrogant, I've never hated any group of individuals more than I hate these people. I hope anyone reading this never has to deal with this organisation and I feel deeply sorry for anyone that has no other choice.

Social workers took my son, i am a loving mother they repeatedly take the abusers side.
Numerous welfare concerns was reported for my sons welfare and mine
made complaints contacted the CEO but we was left with no contact arrangements in writing or written confirmation of the case closing.
We all need to fight stand together for change in the law to protect children.
kids are being failed mine is being failed because of Wigan children’s services.
I deserve answers.
They have no shame I just hope they sleep at night because I don’t.

We share all the previous reviews, and in our case, social care are supporting a perpetrator who is alienating our children against us, ie; concerns and red flag warnings fall on deaf ears, bias and inaccurate reports, don't distribute meeting minutes - therefore they can't be scrutinise for accuracy, ignore correspondence, no caring attitude shown, defensive attitudes instead of enabling and including. They close ranks instead of investigating themselves and corruption is from field worker right up to Director level. We will be escalating our concerns to Ofsted and the Ombudsman to make them accountable for their non actions and spurious modus operandum. Unfortunately our Councillors (in our experience) who are supposed to help us as disadvantaged and vulnerable, will not support you. Another option is to report individual social workers to their governing body; Social Work England - have your evidence ready and keep accurate diaries of events. There are many examples of mismanagement of children in Wigan's social services, unfortunately whistle blowers are too intimidated to speak up!! Wigan's social service has a poor rating from Ofsted and they don't seem to be rectifying this, as if with impunity they don't care. Management are questionable as they can't keep their staff and are kept afloat with agency workers!

They don't pay a blind bit of notice. It doesn't matter how often you and others report abusive behaviour, they don't do anything. They prefer to listen to and believe the continued lies of the abuser than bother to check out the evidence you have given them/told them about. What the heck else are we meant to do? This has been going on for years and the situation is getting worse but they don't give a toss. I'd give zero stars if I could. Do you know of a child being abused? Then contact the NSPCC. You're wasting your time here.
