You can tell it’s going to be good when the kitchen is bigger than the seating area!

Impressive addition to the Hull foodie scene served with passion and punch.

The ginger sweet that came with the cocktail was incredible - never tasted anything like it.

The beef curry and cod cheeks were our favourites. The cleansing ice cream dish was delicious (easily could have had 2).

Will be back for sure 👌

Visited Sunday afternoon for a Sunday dinner with a twist. I can honestly say it is the best Sunday dinner I have had out in a very long time. Had the belly pork and wok fried vegetables so tasty cooked fresh and cooked perfectly. Wife had the beef equally as good. The staff are brilliant friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and make the whole experience enjoyable. We even got a text after booking on line to offer an alternative table time everything about this place is great we will be returning very soon. Other restaurants in the area have a lot to live up to ...

We came here for our works Christmas do and I can honestly say it is probably the best place to dine in the city. The food was all on point, absolutely delicious from start to finish.

The owner was a great host... super friendly and knowledgable.

The single best roast I've ever eaten. Easily the best food in Hull. This city doesn't impress for food, but this blew me away. If you're from the area, you are doing yourself a disservice from not going.

I have eaten in the restaurant on 4 occasions now. Part of a large group, with my dad, on a date night and with a friend. I have had food to cook at home (during lockdown), had the normal small plates menu and the Sunday lunch menu and it never fails to impress.

The menu changes regularly so they always have fresh ideas coming to the plate as well as old faves returning. The restaurant has a great vibe and relaxed atmosphere.

The reason I love it and think its the best place to eat in hull is not only the amazing food, presentation, fresh ingredients, great selection of beers, cocktails and natural wines but also the overall aesthetic of the place. It utilises the amazing building with its original features and adds a dash of punk with great artwork and nods to music, film and pop culture reference points sprinkled throughout. Plus they play awesome music.

The staff are amazingly friendly and really sell the dishes when they walk you through the menu.

I have attached some pics of the dishes I have had. Stand outs have been thr naga chilli potatoes with potato foam and cheddar cheese. The bbq watermelon and beef fillet was a combo I would not have imagined together but worked beautifully. The Thai salad is an amazing side dishe. The freshest of herbs and ingredients 👌. The cocktail menu changes regularly and again features some great combinations.

I love the whole easthetic of the place and it as a brand. It may be the things that's 10 a penny in leeds, manchester or London but for hull its what we have been crying out for. Amazing food, real personality and modern twists on dishes. its amazing independant food and Hull needs more great places like this.
