I had reached out to them for help when my son was first diagnosed. The person who interviewed me pretty much said my son is “too young” (5 years old) and that I wouldn’t be able to get him services. She gave me a copy of a sample letter to send to the school to request SE evaluation, which I could have gotten off Google.

For the record, my son did get approved for services, with only myself advocating for him.

At little disappointed with the intake interview. The person who did the intake was not helpful at all. Was kind of matter of fact about the situation that I was going through. She made it seem that the district always has the best recommendations even after I explained that I felt that they were not providing the best setting for my son. I looked to this group for guidance and was met with disappointment, I felt that this person was more on the district's side than the parent's side, so what is the point of me reaching out for a parent advocate?
Very disheartening, no compassion or empathy found

Not at all helpful. Acted a good game and shortly rarely heard from them again. Thankfully we made it on our own. Thanks for nothing!
