Old Basing Village Nursery has been an incredible place for our child's early development. The nurturing environment they provide is truly outstanding. The staff are not only caring but also highly skilled in fostering a love for learning among the children.

Our child has thrived here, gaining confidence and essential social skills. The balanced approach to education ensures that the kids are well-prepared for their future schooling. They combine play and structured learning perfectly, making sure that every day is both fun and educational.

The facilities are excellent, always clean and welcoming. We also appreciate the regular communication from the staff, keeping us informed about our child's progress and daily activities.

We couldn't be happier with the care and education our child receives at Old Basing Village Nursery. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nurturing and enriching start to their child's education!

Both my children have attended Old Basing Village Nursery School and I am very happy with both of their time there. Run by husband and wife, Andy and Victoria, there is a real sense of family about the nursery which is so impressive as they have continued to grow bigger and haven't lost such an important aspect which was part of the reason for choosing them. They offer so much more than day care. They provide so many experiences for all the children, of all ages. From Wild Child, cooking and baking, visiting artists and musicians, animals experiences... to name only a few things. The whole team are wonderful, which the children and are loved by the kids so much. Absolutely, no complaints.

My daughter has attended this nursery for about 18 months I came in on the government 15 hours scheme and whilst not free the small additional fee is well worth it!
This is for all of their little excursions or visits that they have that come to the nursery!
Not to mention the close link to nature with the play garden at the back!
The staff have been excellent and are first rate at communicating with us parents!
My daughter is always super excited to go to nursery and I know will miss her friends there, those that are going to different schools and those that are staying behind to look after next years attendees!

OBVNS are an incredible nursery setting. My son has attended for the last 18 months since he turned 3. The staff are so kind and caring and look after him as if he was their own. They are so patient and really experienced; nothing fazes them. The staff go the extra mile in following the children's interests, they have managed to get so many visitors; bringing pets, bin lorries, fire engines, musical instruments etc. There are many opportunities for parents and grandparents to visit throughout the year. There is also a regular programme of activities in the year before the children start school; wild child, cooking and sports. My son has flourished in their care and I am confident he will transition to school in September with ease because the nursery have ensured he is more than ready. I trust them completely and I am so thankful for everything they have done for us. Big shout out to all the staff (and special thanks to Joanne, Hannah and Heather) you do an amazing job!

From the moment my daughter started at OBVNS it’s felt like a home from home environment. The staff have always made me feel relaxed and welcome and I also felt supported as a parent.

My daughter made strong bonds straight away which I believe added to her development and alongside everything they have on offer; fantastic age appropriate environments, planned activities, walks around the local village and guests they have in to offer new and exciting opportunities ensured her Early Years education has been fulfilling and rewarding. I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better nursery for my baby.

We have had the most amazing experience with the nursery. Our 3rd daughter attended here for 3 years and it has hands down been the best preschool care from all the previous settings we have used. The communication and running of this business is perfection and the owners should be very proud of what they have accomplished. Our daughter has been loved and cared for impeccably by the team and is now 100% ready for her next adventure to infant education. We will miss the family at the nursery, but will cherish the memories.

Amazing. Both my children have been through this nursery school and have loved every second. The key workers spend time to genuinely get to know the children, form a bond and start every day with a big smile at drop off. There are always engaging, educational and fun activities taking place daily and they truly do give children the best start to their education. We will be sad as a family to leave OBVNS!

I will never have enough words to describe how important this nursery was to us. Liliana was here for 2 years and she is currently transitioning to school.
ALL TEAM is absolutely wonderful! They are all very friendly, professional and passionate about what they do.

Every morning we were greeted with a smile. Several times I didn't get a kiss just because my daughter disappeared through the door. She's always very excited to go to school and be with her friends and teachers.
Every day of the week is dedicated to an activity, such as Sports Day, Wild Child Day, Cooking Day, etc. It's incredible how much they do every day with the children. They are very creative and always present us with new ideas. The children had many special visits as well as farm animals, firefighters, police, ambulance, motorcyclists,..., so much lucky! 🙂
When it doesn't rain they are always outside for walks, trips to the park or staying in the back garden.

It's incredible how much my daughter grew, played and learned here. How independent, happy and confident she is now.
As a mother I was blessed by the dedication of each teacher. We will all miss you. Thank you!
