I booked an electric chair, 8th January, went today to pick it up and was told I hadn’t booked it!
The staff member kept telling me I hadn’t booked it. Well I can assure I had!!
I feel she was quite rude and spoilt my day!!!
I had to have a pushed manual one which my friend had to push around all day.
Very unhelpful.
Also there are no chairs to sit in while you are waiting to pick up the mobility aid.
Staff are not interested about that at all.
All in all not a pleasant experience for disabled people .

I'm extremely unhappy with the Yodel service in this place. As a full time worker I can't come between 10:00 and 17:00. It's absolutely ridiculous.

We had trouble getting through on the phone to book a scooter and left a message. They rang back and everything went well when we collected it. Friendly happy staff.
Just as we returned to the shop there is a slope and the scooter decided it wouldn't do it all in one go! With stopping and starting (and a push from me), it made it to the shop.
We reported the issue and the staff immediately tested it themselves as the engineer had been out previously and told them there was nothing wrong!

My daughter booked in advance for me ..on arrival a lovely lady helped to show me how to use the scooter ...it's brilliant especially for me as I'm not able to walk...was so nice to be able to get out and do a bit of shopping... what a excellent facility x

The staff in here were so helpful and friendly, they went above and beyond to arrange a mobility scooter for my dad who is struggling with being able to walk at the moment, they arranged a temporary blue badge for him to be able to park near the store and made collection and return of the scooter so easy

Phoned up a few days before our shopping trip to book a wheelchair, the lady I spoke to was friendly. Parked easily, we arrived about midday on a Saturday and there were plenty of spaces. (I'm not sure if you need a blue badge to use the car park as had one any way.) Collecting the wheelchair was easy, we had to leave ID as a deposit. Rental of the wheelchair was free of charge. I was happy with the service and would use again when needed.

Fantastic service that i use every time i visit the Lakeside shopping centre. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, even if i have not booked a scooter in advance.

Always make sure you have a couple of different proofs of ID that they retain until you return the scooter, such as a driving licence and post for a utility bill within i think the last 6 month's. The parking is dedicated for disabled drivers or vehicles used to transport a disabled passenger.

Would highly recommend this service to anyone who struggles with walking for long periods of time. They also ask what size scooter you require and have recently updated these so excellent scooters or wheelchairs available as well.
