Went there for a night of mediumship. Not many people in attendance. As it a social hall, the social bar attached was very noisy. I didn't think the two spirits mixed.

Good hall and we had a great time... the problems come when we wanted our deposit back, very unprofessional no one wants to take responsibility and they like to fob you off. I could never recommend this hall and will NEVER use it again. will be taking legal advise.

Ok as a community centre/club. Difficult to comment further because 1) building old and therefore probably outdated despite being too notch when built. It needs a lot of tender loving care by its landlord 2) when I visit building it is used by a group and we bring everything we need. 3) I am not the person dealing with the landlord or dealing with the reporting of maintenance issues or repairs not that I have any to report. Therefore my knowledge of the building and its owner is minimal. Would be unfair to comment negatively or to be execessive. From my use therefore: building old and show signs of wear/tear but saying that hall is very large, easily accessible, with suitable welfare facilities. It is disability compliant in term of being on one level without steps but the access would need updating as access door is on side and need pushing.

We were going to have our dads wake there which is what he wanted, however when I rang to organize it I explained about dad and what he wanted, all i got was a rude "yes, and". I found Fiona's insensitive attitude absolutely vile and disgusting (who knew our dad). I was just asking normal questions regarding buffet n bar etc and its attitude still stunk, so because she was being snotty I got snotty back, I apologised and said let's start again and she decided to say "you're not having it here"and slammed the phone down. Maybe she should go do a Customer Service course or find another career. To say I'm fuming is an understatement!

needs new chairs they have seen better days getting through the front door and coming out can be hard work wen your disabled not sure if they have disabled toilets as I have never seen them
