Ideal place for mental recovery from stress,fatigue and depression.
The beauty of nature displayed with touches of train trip around the farm ,availability of nibbles and drinks to hydrate at good value for money.
Need to nake such a place on monthly calendar basis.I love the scenery!

A great adventure awaits you. Come on a Thursday and you can purchase a ride on the 7 1/4 guage railway. For Kids at heart of all ages. There is even an Annual subscription. Also great for long walks in fresh air and vast gardens. Enjoy.

A very busy day on the Trains today with lots of visitors of all ages. Fun was had by all. The glorious dry Sunny day certainly added to the enjoyment for all concerned.

Cute place to take the kids at Christmas, very well thought out. Many thanks to the lovely family that open their home and share what they have with the community, our little ones spent more time enjoying the classic car than anything else! And whoever is baking the cakes deserves a medal.

A really lovely day out, very beautiful and great for all the family. We decided to take a spontaneous day out and saw that trains run on Thursdays (over the holidays), we booked at 9am, and arrived at 11am. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loads of places to set up for a picnic and also many benches to rest. No park for children to play in but honestly there was no need, our children were very satisfied with playing in and around the many fields, forests and ponds.

An excellent afternoon out.

Beautiful art installations in immaculate grounds. Loads of things for all ages, with vintage cars, bikes, a miniature railway (that takes 40 mins) and even buggy tours if you're less able to walk or just don't want to miss anything!

An excellent day out thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. Barnard's Farm is beautifully maintained by an army of friendly and approachable volunteers who were readily available to talk to you about the various cars, sculptures and trains on display. A ride on the miniature railway is a must, a superb loop around the entire site amongst the beautiful trees and sculptures. We spent 4 hours here seeing everything and exploring the gardens, finished off with tea and cake in the restaurant - can't wait to visit again!
