Took my dog to the doggy Christmas party, had a great time. Also we go once a month to the dog shack which my dog loves.
It's a fantastic charity which does a brilliant job looking after all the rescue horses.
As well the cafe is great and well worth a visit 😊.

My girls love it here, we’ve been twice and have now sponsored a horse.

The location is great and the staff are all friendly. The horses are well looked after and you can tell the team do a fantastic job.

Theres a nice little play area too which my girls enjoyed.

We haven’t tried the cafe yet, but we’ve heard great things about it, so we’ll definitely try it next time.

There’s a children’s activity area and a gift shop too.

£6 entry for the three of us is a bargain!

Can’t fault this place 🙂

I absolutely adore this place and now my girls (10 and 17) do too. The Horses are well maintained and I love that they all have their stories on their stables so you can learn more about them.
I absolute fell in love with Ruben, Ruby and Kevan (Or Kevaaaaaaan as my girls lovingly call him)
The staff are lovely and welcoming, always passing you with a smile. Visited twice recently and will absolutely come again, didn't realise there was an event on today, so it felt a bit busy for my personal liking but both the yard and cafe staff dealt with it really well and overall we still had a very enjoyable day. I am considering looking into volunteering, with a deep set love for horses but not being able to own right now, it would be a great way to connect whilst supporting an amazing charity. Well done everyone for the great work you do.

Was such a lovely place to have breakfast. But the dish i ordered was not worth the price I paid . 2 slithers of eggs on 2 brown toast.£5.45 ( or there abouts) With a portion of mushrooms, which consisted of 6 @£1.25
Gutted, I didn't take a pic and didn't really complain I let it go as a one off . Coffee was lovely and company the best .

We absolutely love visiting HAPPA at Shores Hey Farm. Our most recent visit was on Sunday 19th December. We visited as a family of four plus daughter's friend. £5 donation entry and a few pounds for a craft pack which included a reindeer trail around the farm with clues. Once completed this could be handed in for a stationery gift at Reception. Children really enjoyed it. The craft room also has model ponies that can be brushed, tacked up and you can have a practise with a microchip scanner. The horses and ponies are really well cared for and it's nice to read each one's story on their stable door. The wooden outdoor playground was loved by the children too. To top off our visit we enjoyed a beautiful lunch in the cafe. Andy, the Cafe and Kitchen Manager had very kindly replied to my message late the previous night after I'd forgotten to book a table and assured me he would reserve one.
A lovely, cosy atmostphere and super friendly staff. The food was delicious, a great portion and good value for money. We ordered the cooked breakfast, salt and pepper chicken and chips in a basket and 3 kids meals of chicken goujons and fries. For dessert myself and my husband had a chocolate orange cheescake and a Ferrero rocher cheesecake and children had ice cream ( Mrs Dowson's).
Overall brilliant few hours out and we would visit much more often if it was closer. Fortunately they have a very active social media and regularly post things on their Facebook page to keep you updated.

Nice place for a family funday. We spent an hour walking round looking and stroking the horses and the kids groomed the horse for £5.

I was very cold so decided to have our lunch in the cafe very reasonably priced and get what you pay for!

Would recommend if you live near and want to support the local charity.
