Lovely walk through shady woodlands, with bridges criss-crossing the streams and waterfalls. From there can also do an extended walk loop out into open fields and farmland, along the Leeds Liverpool canal, then a kilometer along a road until the final section of trail back into Fairy Glen. A little bit of mud here and there but nothing too worry too much about.

Limited car parking, but lovely coffee and cakes available from the Fairy Glen coffee box stall.

Such a beautiful woodland area with many paths & trails of varying difficulty for those who like a challenge or who have mobility issues so need to stick to the more level paths.
There's an air of magic about the place, with little paths here and there that make you want to explore. There's lovely little waterfalls and wooden bridges over the water, bluebells & flowers everywhere and trees making scenic archways.
It wasn't too busy on the Sunday afternoon, quite a few people walking dogs or just couples strolling through & everyone very friendly. A very peaceful, beautiful area.

Lived nearby for so long and hadn't even heard of here until recently, so thought today I was going to pay it a visiit.

It was a really magical place, different paths so easy routes suitable for most people and some alternative paths if you want to get of the beaten track a bit. We stayed here for about 1hour but you could easily spend longer if you wanted a longer walk.

Nice walk around. Beautiful scenery, dog friendly if your dog is happy with fence stiles with dog holes. Can be muddy after rain but good walking shoes or wellies can deal with it easily.

What a beautiful place to visit we went for our family walk, with our dog, we had fun with the kids exploring and playing in the stream. I can't wait to visit again and see how it changes with every season. The only negative is that people scatter glitter, it's beautiful enough without the need to add to pollution by scattering glitter. We went early to ensure we could park in the lay by across the road

This is a great place to take younger kids to wear them out! I'd say from 6yr to 10yr as there are a lot of steps and steep slopes. We went on a muddy, rainy Sunday but it was still beautiful and a good walk. It wasn't as long as I expected but still out for an hour. Wear wellies! We'll go back in Spring/Summer.
