Had a leak for 3 and half years and reported it numerous times to be told same thing endless times. Endless circle. All the while me and my 6 year old son is suffering from mould and damp. The damage it has done to me and my son let alone my home and everything I have done to make everything I have a home for me and my son. It’s unhealthy. It’s now affecting my sons health. I have proof of the damage the leak has done and they is no care about what we are having to live through. Fully disgusted. I am currently going to contact a lawyer and ombudsman to help me deal with this.
I would 1000% never recommend this housing association to anyone, AVOID AT ALL COST!!! only care for money not people’s health!!!!

I am a sole trader who was asked to do an urgent visit to see a Sanctuary tenant. I gave my fee which was agreed via email, visited the tenant in December 2022 (who was 2 hours drive away) and completed a comprehensive report as was requested. I sent my invoice but have had to chase and chase to no avail.
I did receive a very curt email from someone who I have had no dealings with asking who had instructed me as this is not something Sanctuary would pay for. Frankly that is not my issue and these matters should have been dealt with internally. Despite advising him that this was agreed by a different team, I had still not been paid at the beginning of April. I therefore completed a formal complaint saying I was happy to take this to the small claims court. Coincidentally I got paid that same week, but have had no acknowledgment or response to my complaint which according to their complaints procedure should happen within 10 days of making it. I do however want to say thank you to Kevin in the aids and adaptations team who I have had a number of conversations with and has always responded promptly and professionally. Unfortunately, as an administrator he was not in a position to pay me.
Overall this has left me with a very poor impression of the organisation.

I'm homeless and waiting for housing officer to get in contact or phone my daughter to when I can clear out my old property and move into my new house I've been waiting 7 months and still waiting I need my own space really can't take no more I'll take it ombudsman see what there say about and I'll go to c.a.b. as well if don't hear anything

Absolutely terrible, never answer emails or requests for call backs. Repairs take absolutely months on end to complete and then still are not completed. Roof been repaired over and over again been promised a new one three years on the bounce. Currently have a massive hole again and tiles hanging off the edge of my roof near my front door and car. Told them risk to life and property but not interested. No wonder the top google searches for sanctuary are claims companies seeking claims for poor or delayed sub standard works. Avoid if you can.

Another terrible landlord.. They're soo wrong on many factors!
Edit 4 years later.. Sanctuary are trying to force my household into getting smart meters!
They only stated after they installed solar panels that we'd need to switch to smart meters!
We shall not fall victims to this system!

My boiler broke down Sunday,phoned sanctuary emergency repair guy turned up afternoon isolated water,so I have no hot water or central heating,another man turned up Tuesday said it needed a new part ordering it is now Wednesday and we have still heard nothing,sanctuary absolute joke,four days with no hot water or heating.pity they are not as fast at fixing repairs as they are at collecting rent money

Wish I could give a zero, absolutely appalling. They never fix the issue, lie all the time and terrible customer service. Been waiting since the 1st of February for the wall in the bedroom to be fixed, been waiting ever since and even though it’s classed as an emergency it’s been 3 months

Absalute joke of a company as we speak im waiting for an emergency repair as boiler has packed up and is switched off at mains and on fuse box etc and is making loud banging noises with water shooting out of overflow pipe been waiting 18 hours now other repairs broken stair if you stand on it you would fall through this is getting done end of march lol all the plaster in the cupboard under the stairs has come off and is in a bad state it got reported a contractor came out had a look said he needed materials and would return in 2 weeks this was last year lol a bad leak above front door which everytime it rains floods the porch been repaired many times over the last two years still leaks and floods porch company is a disgrace im seeking leggal advice as its not fair all lies and false promises putting lives at risk
