Considering the reason I was attending a function at this venue I was quite surprised that there were no disabled parking spaces I could see. I didn't know the front from the back as the signage is inadequate. This building is on two levels with the main entrance on the top level . As a wheelchair user I was surprised at the lack of proper parking and had to find space at lower level . Therefore I had to negotiate a footpath past the barred and overgrown rear lower door . Then I had to bypass a very steep set of steps up the side of the building .
When I passed all the cars parked on the top level I came across the barred top entrance. Fortunately there was someone there to open the doors and let me in . Inside is a little dated but the auditorium is a lovely hexagonal shape . There is a small kitchen and an entrance hall with wc for both sexes . There is a disabled toilet which is accessible for a wheelchair but was hard to use as it had a baby changer(grrr) a metal chair and a large rubbish bin in the area I needed to park my chair. I couldn't hook up to a hearing loop either.
