Lovely staff, food are light bites, jacket potatoes, pizza. Coffee was excellent and reasonable, I had barbecue chicken and cheese wrap served with salad and crisps and coleslaw. My friend had the same meal but a cold drink. Came to under £16.00 great value and was very tasty. Volunteers serve you. This is well worth going , very busy though, only one table free. If going as a crowd it is better to reserve your table.

What an amazing local place - staffed by volunteers - that not only serves great 'homemade' food and very nice drinks, all served with a friendly face, but is helping a great cause - Mental Health.
Why would anyone spend their money at an International Brand and increase their large profits, when you can have better quality at "Don't Lose Hope" and help your local Community.

Lovely small tearoom with a menu of paninis and sandwiches, plus some lovely homemade cakes. Staff are all lovely and really make you feel welcome.
Best tasting coffee in town.
All profits are used to support people who are in need of mental health counselling.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area. All monies raised go to a very worthwhile cause, mental health issues. The staff are mostly volunteers. We just had scones and warm drinks but there was a wide range of options available including vegetarian. All on a level and wheelchair accessible, there is quite a walk to the toilet though.

These guys are absolutely incredible ❤️
Not only is the food, drinks and service amazing (you have to try the brownies) but their counseling services are transformative.
Their vegan rocky road is a right treat and they make the most gorgeous vegan hot choc and cream!

The loveliest charity, great atmosphere with lovely volunteer staff, great food and a perfect place for lunching and branching with friends. Great prices as well, would much rather spend £3 on a coffee here and support a charity then spend £5 in a big branch like Costa

What a delightful little place this is. The food is wonderfully fresh, and the staff are always very friendly. I understand the staff are volunteers as the cafe is a non-profit organisation, supporting people with mental health concerns. That in itself makes me want to visit the establishment, but the high standard in food seals the deal. I highly recommend the Don't Lose Hope Cafe.
