Richard McCrone has worked on many of our estate buildings, most notably Bulwick Hall. His attention to detail is phenomenal. He replaced about 40 percent of the balusters above the colonnade a few years ago. Now that the stone has aged I would challenge anyone to try and distinguish the new from the old. In January 2021 he designed and built a beautiful simple stone fireplace for one of our cottages. I have a number of projects in mind for St Whites Stone and looking forward to working with Richard again soon.

I employed St Whites Stone Ltd on behalf of a client to repair and rebuild the very large chimneys on their Grade II listed home in Clipsham.
The work was exacting as it had to match precisely the old chimneys to adhere to listed building consent and the result was truly lovely.
The team were not only respectful of the building and its heritage but also polite, nice to have around and flexible to work around the other trades on site.
