Really lovely shop, helpful staff, plenty of variety in clothing, groceries, homewares, a lovely cafe, great amenities. I brought my older mother here, she has mobility issues, getting around the store was no bother at all. The changing rooms were spacious. We will definitely be back. This is the best M & S store for miles 🙂

Using the click and collect service, till person refused to acknowledge my order instead pointing to the self service machine on the wall. This then did not recognise the bar code on the ready to collect email I had been sent forcing me to enter personal details for all to see on the large wall monitor. I will not be shopping there again.

An older female security staff member who racially profiled my family who shops at this location every week for our weekly food shop. Apparently because we like to pack away our food in an organised manner after purchasing our food in the boot of our estate, she stated because we didn't have our items bagged (Which we never have before) but just displayed in our cart she said she must check our receipt and our items. Here's the kicker we never did self checkout, we got checked by one of the multiple M&S Foodhall ladies that know us and check our family out weekly. But still you suspected us of theft. Mind you, we hadn't even made it to the security barriers, so nothing sounded or triggered for her to act on anything, but she chose to pick on us, the one Black family in the store who shops here regularly and has never been stopped before by other staff who see us every single week. We asked her how many people she stopped, and she responded, "No one just you." We filmed the ordeal, and what was interesting is that whilst she was checking our items, flexing her racial profiling of us, white customers were walking out with food items in hand and not in a bag. She never stopped them, and when a white woman walked out with a ready meal in her hand and set off the security alarm, she never stopped her or looked her way (caught on camera). This prejudiced woman, was fully focused on the Black family. With the decade I have been shopping at M&S since moving to this country from the US, I have never seen their standard of staff and customer service fall so low at M&S. She does not exemplify the standards of someone who should be working at M&S, especially with the company vehemently condemning racism and injustice publicly. This was incredibly distressing and embarrassing for not only myself and my husband but for my two children, one of whom has Autism and struggles with situational awareness. She was incredibly distressed that the place where we go where she knows some of the M&S Foodhall staff quite well and converses with me, that this is no longer her safe place. She says she doesn't want to go to "that place" anymore. Thank you for giving my child her first experience of racism and injustice. Thank you for taking away my children's safe place where they could feel comfortable. You should be ashamed of yourself. And how silly you looked when you went through every single item on that receipt, and it was bought and paid for as it always is. How silly you must have felt when your coworkers looked at you puzzled and they told you we are here every single week and have never had an issue. HOW SILLY you must have felt when my 6 year old shamed you by telling you what you were doing was wrong and we paid for our items, a young child telling an ignorant racist grown woman that her actions were unwarranted and unjust. How silly you must have felt when your racial profiling and racial biases only discovered that an ethnic minority family could afford to do our full food shop. Imagine that. Formal Complaint submitted. Subject Access directed. Solicitor advised. Let this be the last time you get to traumatise and target an innocent family simply because of your racism and projection of your own financial means, or lack thereof. This is the year 2025, not the 70s. The fact you thought you could pull this mess in diverse Peterborough and not be held to account? You got the right one on the wrong day. I promised you I wasn't letting this go, and I'm riding this process out to the very end, like flea on a dog. You will never get the opportunity to do this to another family again. It simply will not and can not happen. ever. again.

Great size store with a lot of products available. Staff and helpful and friendly.
However, the spotlights throughout the store are horrid. They dazzle you and shine right in your eyes while you are trying to browse. Not good if you are light sensitive.

Food and clothes good as you would expect. Can’t express how please I was with the baby changing facilities in the gents. What a breath of fresh air, not having to use the sink area or a toilet seat. Well done M&S for doing it right!!

I was served by the most lovely lady, ' I think her name was Sue, she served me at 14.07, on Friday 10th October, I could not find her name on receipt she was so patient with me, I was looking for some coloured tights in my size, she came to have a look with me and behold I forgot to look at the very back of the tights for my size, I felt so silly, but Sue was brilliant with me, we smiled and laughed together. Brilliant service, ❤️ hopefully i will see her again when I come to visit my favorite Mark's and Spencer store. Love the shop.

I've always been impressed with the quality and service at Marks & Spencer. From the moment you walk in, the store exudes a sense of style and sophistication. Marks & Spencer has truly mastered the art of combining quality with convenience, and it remains one of my go-to stores for both fashion and food. Highly recommended!

Spoke to a member of staff ( Tammy) who was so down to earth , she was so helpful. I explained I’m not a browser, I like to go in, get what I want without sifting through everything. I asked for her help directing me to where I could find what I was looking for & she gave me options like a personal assistant , I purchased a lovely dress today, she also up sold some lovely trousers , unfortunately in store they didn’t have my size but will be ordering online and will be back again when the new season stock comes in, connecting with customers is so important & Tammy is an asset to the business increasing sales, making a customer experience special.
