Visited the Mencap cafe in Dorchester with my dog on Monday and met with a wonderful welcome. Staff and volunteers were so kind, and the coffee and tea cake I had hit the spot! The lunch selection looked great too. Highly recommend this relaxing cafe.

A great little hidden gem & Aladdin's cave with a great selection of clothes for ladies, gents, CDs, dvds, classic vinyl with along with many other items of interest for inside or out side the house. The cafe was excellent, the food delicious, tasty freshly prepared & the homemade coleslaw ding dong absolutely delicious. A massive thanks to Sarah, Kerensa, Daniel plus all the other incredible & amazing volunteers too.

Staff are very helpful & welcoming, cafe is not over priced & has disabled staff involved, there R disabled staff throughout the shop. There's a great choice of things 2 buy that R at a good price.

This place is amazing, my husband had a severe anxiety attack in Dorchester, I managed to get him to this place so he could sit quietly and have a cup of tea. Wow what staff, he was chatted too and talked to till he calmed down. We were able to have a night away in Weymouth and to return to Swindon the next day.. That was all thanks to this shop. I am sorry I cannot remember your name, you gave my husband the heart shaped stone, thank you again. I promised I would bring a few bits into you when down again so hope you are taking items on Wednesday [its not clothes]
