My wife and I recently visited the delightful Cedars in Bourton after being drawn in by their window display of bears the night prior. We arrived first thing in the morning to take advantage of the disabled parking right outside and waited eagerly for the 10:30am opening time (closed Wednesdays).

The friendly shopkeeper (Sonia) greeted us warmly with some cheerful banter to start the day. When we inquired about the bears, she gladly led us upstairs where I wandered the aisles until a particular bear called out to me - "Jonathan" was soon added to my collection, along with a steiff monkey friend.

Downstairs, we made further purchases amongst the store's ample selection of gifts for all ages. There's plenty of room to explore this sizeable shop and the ground floor is quite accessible.

We left overjoyed with our new furry finds and will certainly be back soon to find more charming companions. Cedars is filled with character and treasures waiting to be taken home.

Just bought another of Charlie’s Bears today - the amazing surprise birthday bear. The staff couldn’t have been any more helpful. I was having a problem with the website so called the shop to order and the lovely Lou helped me place my order. My best friend is going to love this bear!

Fabulous shop & wonderful staff! An absolute gem of a find in the village when I was visiting. They have a wonderful array of gifts and homewares to suit all tastes and great to hear they are online as well. We bought a clock from there that I have never seen anywhere else and would recommend highly.

The website is fabulous. Very good product descriptions. Free delivery on orders over £15.00 and we live in remote Scotland. The delivery was prompt and bears very well packed. I would highly recommend this website and the bears sold.

I went to this shop today after having s quick look the other day. I was very excited but had the worst experience with the staff. Your staff clearly haven’t had customers service training. I purchased a metal fairytale boot for my cousins fairy garden and simply asked if it could come in a box as it’s raining and I don’t want it to rust. The response should have been ‘no worries we’ll look but if not we’ll wrap it up and pop it in a bag’ the response was ‘we’ll it goes outside’ as they set about wrapping it up nicely. What was the point in saying that? Like I’m a moron for not wanting it to rust BEFORE I present it to my cousin. Then the 3 staff went about talking how it dents and how one of their mothers has dented hers 3 times. I mean for god sake, teach your staff how to treat customers. I left not only feeling stupid, because of the comments your staff made but actually I was going to come back later in the year and purchase more things for Christmas for my cousin! after that experience I will find things elsewhere!
