Setting fireworks off at 12:30am is not fair and its illegal as well. I'm sick of it and needs to stop as sounds like bombs going off in my home. Please stop doing it and think of the community and I will take this further with the noise. Zero stars.

I went on Thursday 2nd December for the 1st time to

The Convent, Werneth Grange, Grange Avenue, Oldham, OL84EL.

They were very welcoming to everyone who came along and produced an excellent homemade 3 course meal for anyone that was in need. The meal I ate was a homemade soup, followed by the flakiest and juicy salmon complemented with a vegetable pasta as a main meal. A delicious dessert of either Xmas pudding or mince pies and a rich creamy brandy sauce. As soon as I arrived I was offered a hot drink and again throughout the meal. Only disappointment was that the time flew past too quickly whilst we were all having chats, meeting new people and enjoying their excellent company. I'd definitely recommend that anyone struggling or even would just enjoy spending a couple of hours in decent people's company. Whether you are eating or not. Pop along and take the weight off your feet for a while and make some new friends. Thanks to all those who spent their time volunteering to provide such a fantastic dinner. Hopefully I'll see you there next time.
