Comprehensive review/articles to follow but please think twice before boarding your pet here. Thankfully we picked our beloved 7 year old GSD and small 6 year old xbreed a day earlier than booked (we had been at our daughters wedding in Buckinghamshire). What met us was horrendous our GSD stumbled through the door head and ears down, she didn't recognise us but worse still was dribbling and frothing at the mouth. We had to lift her into the car, her stomach was completely extended on one side. Temperature 41 !! and gums white and severely dehydrated. WHY WAS A VET NOT CALLED We rushed her straight to a 24/7 vet, they couldn't believe the state she was in and stated had we been an hour or two longer our beloved family member would no longer be with us. The vets operated throughout the night phoning at 2am to let us know she'd be critical for the next 24 to 48 hours but the operation had gone well. No one from the kennels phoned after handing me a dog in this state. The charts handed to me on collecting - after I'd asked if she'd been to the toilet as instantly thought of a twisted stomach seeing the state she was in - stated that she had been sick, foamy, frothy fluid - A LOT (in their words) all day!

Supposed explanation letters received totally contradict the chart handed to us - who's lying?

I wish you could get into their heads as we now find ourselves with 2 totally different dogs the GSD scared to go to bed at night and godforbid she's sick - her ears go down and she cowers in the corner. Her sidekick of 6 years has developed severe separation anxiety and now barks should anyone go near the GSD. They had never been separated yet these supposed animal lovers separated them even though I'd booked and paid a deposit for a double kennel almost a year in advance - letters etc to prove the fact as when I tried to book for another date previously the double kennel had already been booked for one night throughout our booking so had made other arrangements for them.

Sorry for the length of this review but prior to this experience this was the kennels I'd always recommend

A lovely place we have stopped by a few times on our way from London to Studland. You pay a donation and then can wonder around and see which animals are out.

After looking on the Margret Green website for cats, we went for a visit in person. The staff were very friendly, and attentive to us & the animals. We were able to see records of what each cat had been doing each day, to get a better idea of their personality. When we had decided on the cat for us, the process was very easy, and within a week we had a new addition to our family.
