The team a Hillsong call their Church (or temple) "Home" and I advise taking your slippers as that's exactly how you'll feel when you enter. The team are welcoming, fun, extremely helpful and so very kind you'll want to live there forever. This is mostly from the personal and friendly leadership of Pastors Grant & Helene Erskine who lead Hillsong Kent.

The music as you can imagine from Hillsong, is always very moving and very professional with an exceptional team and well trained, rehearsed and passionate group.

The Church always deeply connects with the congregation with passionate sermons from the leadership / pastoral team with occasional guests from the International leadership and connections of the Hillsong Group of Churches, including Brian and Bobby Houston.

The Sunday school (childcare) is exceptional, with separated areas for teens, babies and 2 more rooms for the younger children think of it like:

1. Nursery
2. Infants
3. Juniors
4. Teens

In each room the youth pastors teach the children biblical and lifestyle lessons appropriate to their age and the kids love them, they're full of toys, snacks and such lovely people it's simply amazing.

There are many other ways to connect with the Church including study groups and even outreach programs into areas as far as Essex.

Hillsong Church at Tonbridge is also right next to an amazing park in an amazing town, allowing you to make the day of it, with a swimming pool, huge kids park, skate park and lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

I moved in. Out of curiosity, I entered God's temple. I don't speak English, but in that wonderful atmosphere the English language is not important. I felt your faith, it was incredible. Although I did not cooperate physically, believe me that my ❤️, which is currently in the phase of anxiety and disappointment, was radiant with joy. Thank you for such beauty that I could experience. Very friendly welcome team on arrival. Nice clean toilets. Clear directions to where you need to go, large kids group options. Great singers and preaching is excellent. The music is a very high standard - can be a little sound for little ones so if you have babies ear defenders would be advised. For that reason I give it a 4/5. Please give it a visit, an excellent place to meet with God and some lovely people.

Just amazing. We love this church, the friendliness of God's people and the sense of community is unrivalled. You can walk in off the street and not know what you've walked into and you will find it hard to leave because of the light, uplifting and energising vibe that flows through this church. So grateful to be apart of it.

It does feel really warm and welcoming, just like the other reviewers say. Parking although a challenge, can be secured for free at Botany car park about 3 minutes walk from the church. Incredibly, a church member Claire, picked us up in her mini bus while we were walking to the church dropped us off before going back to find car parking space for herself. That is a little something but it made us feel really special. Thanks Claire.
