Okay, time to find some more family! And as you tour the paths around this church, you can see them, inscribed into the pavements! Wow, it was amazing to see family names underfoot. The paths themselves were very wheelchair accessible too, allowing my wife and her family take their time and examine the many stones.

We were taken aback a bit by the amount of trash scattered around. Perhaps being in the center of town attracts a lot of people or just people who don't clean up after themselves. But you can tell the church tries to keep things clean and usable by the public.

We loved the inside of church, which had a small group of active people at the time of our visiting, and included an author of a book of the church and area that we were happy to purchase as a memento.

Middle of Dewsbury. Small car park in churchyard. Cafe very popular when we were there. Open from 10:00 until 14:00. Small charity area before historical display and actual Minister. Recommended if you have an hour or so to spare and you are in the area.

Lovely venue for a classical music 🎶 concert or a music school recital. I have been with both Horbury and Sandal Singers for concerts there. The only thing wrong was that the building itself is cold.

I went to the cafe with friends, 7 of us went. The prices were reasonable, the portion sizes were good and the food was lovely. I'll definitely be going again.

We visited as tourists rather than churchgoers on Tuesday morning. We first visited the cafe which was bigger than expected. Two large scones and two pots of tea for £5.60. The church itself was delightful - but I wasn't keen on the NHS exhibition. There were two lovely ladies doing the meet and greet. One told us about the exhibition that we weren't aware of, gave us an information leaflet and left us to it - thank you, we'd never have known about it otherwise. Well worth a visit - and don't forget to treat yourself to something from the cafe. There are toilets if you need them.

Very interesting church. Steeped in history back to the 7th century. Very friendly staff on reception and a nice tearoom. Well worth a decent visit. Recommended. ☺️

I do like inside this minister it has a very modern feel and appearance. Best 1 we have in west Yorkshire.. Just a real shame the gift shop is so small. And cafe outlet is small. Nice toilets nice cafe but poor quality coffee used. Dread 2 think what tea wud taste like.
