Started off well, then for the past few weeks more and more stock is out of date, and they're not letting us know what meats are being given the fruit and potatoes are always mashed together in a bag. It's not worth the money, on benefits and that is all wasted here when 80% of what we are given isn't edible, we have to throw it away, it makes us sick or we have to cook it on the day. It's ridiculous. Waste of money and for those of us who need the help, it's disgusting that is what we are given.

Absolutely amazing community service❤️ I love the volunteers who are so friendly and approachable. As for the quality of food it can be a bit hit and miss each week but for the quantity you get you can’t really complain for £8.

It's a good idea but seems to be a bit hit and miss each week, first couple weeks were ok, although a lot of duplicate foods..ie noodles. 3rd week was a change, needed a ticket then given two bags (like the second week, but this was explained that there was more in each bag to make up for the missing 3rd bag), only to find from a neighbour who was also there that I should of been given another ticket to collect another bag from the back of the van (refridgereated type goods), so got home to find some battered mushy bananas x2, pineapples x2, long life bread, few vegetables and some sweets (crisps/flapjack). Staff need to be explaining things if they've decided to change it. Sunderland Southwick hub 06/12/24.

I found this ok at first but last few months there's out of date food , even fruit etc. ,then also there was a mental health special event ran at same place ,meant to be drs etc ,but I'm beginning to doubt , also a text about what benefits your own , then yesterday a email about anyone want to tell their story about any problems they have in life ,what the hell is this to do with a food collection, and also having to pay for out of date food ,some of the fruit and veg is soggy too ,and yeah fruit flies etc ,I'm stopping going ,seems like total scam to me ,so don't bother emailing or texting me again or your going to get reported
