Just helped my grandmother move into a Pickering & Ferens bungalow and we all have high praise for them. She has managed to stay within the area that she wanted to live and has now moved into a beautiful, safe, warm bungalow with wonderful neighbours. Went to visit a relative at Malin Lodge on Saturday 17th of December and while there the fire alarm went off .it was still ringing out 4 hours later despite numerous phone calls to Pickering and the alarm company. The noise was unbearable. Of course this also means that the lift is out of action so elderly people are trapped in their flats. Come on Pickering get your act together and get this sorted. Also try to get the noise level reduced as it is damaging to people's health.

Repairs are responded to very fast, staff are always very helpful and polite, couldnt ask for more, best thing i ever did was to move into a pickering and ferens bungalow

Lived in my property for three years and was told when I moved in that the windows were going to be changed, here we are no sign of new windows, it’s freezing cold, and with the energy bills so high I’m worried about putting the heating on, not that it would make any difference, it just goes out through the windows and it isn’t as if the radiators are good enough, I hate to think of another winter in here.
