Visited today as I heard the atmosphere is good for football, watched the Chelsea match. The staff were great, the manager got us a great spot for football. We had the sharing platter which was excellent. The manager was obviously a football fan but we enjoy the banter and we were made to very feel welcome! Can't wait for the next match 🙂

I just wanted to say thank you so much for looking after mum in her final months with such care and dignity. Slater and his team of Preston House were amazing and looked after mum like she was theirs. She was made to feel welcome and they went over and beyond looking after mum. I cannot thank you enough.

My Grandmother was admitted in January with a promise of physio to help her get on her feet... this never happened despite the numerous phonecalls chasing it up. Some of the staff was nice and others not so - my Grandmother would wait upto 1hr after pressing her buzzer for assistance. I overheard a comment from one staff member saying "we'll quickly put her on the commode - not that she can't wait!" They didn't know we was in her room visiting, this was 45mins after pressing her button. Her breakfast plates wouldn't be cleared away until her lunch came around. She never had a shower in 4 months although they have the facilities too assist with that. My Grandmother complained of having chest pains at 1.30am to be told they call a doctor because ita too late, she had COPD and angina this was not taken into consideration. Unfortunately in May we lost my Grandmother to the virus. My Grandmother didn't socialise with other residents and stayed in her room so this of course means someone had brought it into her room which is very concerning. I would not recommend this place as the staff have very little sympathy and lack skills.

My mother in law was taken here for end of life care ..she arrived after spending weeks in hospital in a bad way..she was dirty and unkempt we visited her later in the day.she had had her hair washed was curled and she looked fabulous staff could do no wrong in my eyes ,they were so nice and attentive sadly she passed away a week later but I'm so glad she was treated with respect and dignity in her last days x

I can only review what I see not what I hear so compared to other homes my mum has been it is better than others in the area.
