This is my 2nd review of his service. I think the first one was taken down.🤔
Where to begin?
They completely fit in with the stigma of fear people have of this service. In the years that we've had misfortune of dealing with them, (although generally they've been okay with us). There are policies I definitely don't agree with & some of the social workers have tried to remove our child from us just because other services have advised me to ask Adult social Services for help, due to my health issues! There are other issues we've had with them as well. They are crazily unprofessional & they can be used to bully the public by other government services if they see fit. My child's primary school 'set them on to us' instead of supporting us (as my child is autistic and I have health issues as I mentioned above). They've even forced them onto us because they asked my son a question about a test.He misunderstood it due to his learning difficulties which are the reasons we've endured this service over the recent years & I believe the school have got into trouble for doing this to us,
There is one particular social worker that we had the misfortune to deal with. She tried to make a false case for herself out of one of these incidents. She was extremely discriminative towards me due to my health problems. She kept harassing me in various different ways (strangely not to my husband though?) She was very offending, sarcastic, abrupt, threatening & personal with our me/family just for my husband and myself. Plus using myself &my husband chatting in our bedroomti threaten us!! Literally talking to each other in our bedroom ! When I complained seven times, the other social workers want to know exactly who she was & to made it clear to us that that isn't the way they behave. I complained to her team leader on more than one occasion & then ended up making an 8th complaint to our general council about her. Her name is Claire & she works at Doncaster Social Services or she used to! I have been in the process of setting an email up after being advised to complain against her that way & the way social services have dealt with it since she shouldn't have been involved after the first complaint but she wouldn't stop harassing me. She affected my mental health greatly & upset my child to the point where he told me he never wanted her back in our house again.!She genuinely frightened us us & everyone we knew because we thought she was looking for any excuse to get involved & take my child out of our family. Anyway, there was more to come so I didn't get the chance to finish the email sadly. I wouldn't normally mention a person's name but a person who abuses their power in this way is dangerous & I feel that I'm doing the public some sort of justice by warning people of this social worker! She knew she didn't have a case. She told us that as soon as she saw us but she kept trying to harass me . Anyway it took 3 to 4 months before we got her out of our live's. She was trying to get me to do things I couldn't physically do as well. I felt completely victimized by this social worker & I didn't actually see her as genuine due to her behaviour! I saw her as my bully instead because that's what she'd become. She was completely fixated on the one thing that was permanent, that we struggled with. My health issues! She was asking questions that I know she shouldn't have been as well. She didn't need to and they weren't relevant to anything. Also anything that was good for our family she was telling us we weren't allowed to do it.🤔 Including something that was good for my child. Anything that was bad for us & made our situation worse she was encouraging it or didn't care ! She silenced us over nothing & used a threat to do that. All of this & she told us she knew there wasn't a problem. We will never trust Doncaster Social Services again the same way !!!
BE WARNED! BE AWARE!
😔🥺

a vital service many rely upon for safety and support!

Unfortunately, this LA seeks out marketing leads by exposing the most vulnerable categories.

Including but not limited to:

Inconsistencies when undertaking vital disclosure enquires i.e. , Claire law, Sarah's law - casting life changing situations upon the most vulnerable families whereby disclosures for one reason or another were not made...

Discrimination of disability - both children and their parents or carers...
Any cognitive or processing disability that has a day to day impact- will not be considered to meet the criteria (regardless if you are protected under the equality act 2010 - I.e ADHD)

Victimisation - domestic abuse victims are degraded, demoralised, minimalised, and profiled as a potential 'contributor' of domestic abuse rather than victim!

Poly-victimsation - previously, LAC are repeatedly poly victimised for their own experiences of being a LAC - targeted for concerns such as 'the parenting ability, or capacity owed to circumstances that brought former LAC into authority. Re- traumatising their former users and further Victimising for something the user has no responsibility owed upon the concerns raised being the child victim in the first instance!

Consent and incapacity -

What is informed consent ?
Ensure you are fully informed, fully understanding, and aware of what you are agreeing to....

Furthermore, are you aware that if consent is required, the participant has a choice to accept or decline?

This local authority is disgracefully skilled at obtaining 'consent' through 'implied' measures

It would be interesting to see how many child/ family proceeding cases were represented by regulated solicitors rather than the 'legal training' staff who are not currently studying any law subject nor qualified any previous study.... leaving the Local Borough and its most vulnerable residents at the heart of further corruptive systematic abuse. Delegated a duty of care which is immediately extorted whilst staff knowingly commit fraud by false representation (all may I add.... which is paid for by yours truly - taxpayers)

feel free.... head over to the socilictor Regulation authority:
Know these names ?
LISA BUNN
CHRISTINE TINKLER

Or we could discuss the part about how this Local authority and its counterpart public bodies I.e police, schools, medical staff and private carers are part of a much wider systematic failing : a national multi-agency conspiracy to conceal child abuse of looked after children in the United Kingdom...

This authority was not appointed to an independent trust but more simply privatised. Hence, the ability to remove special measures in advance of time and through the duration of the second phase enquiry regarding the children's homes 🤷‍♀️

Appalling

The recent review of the abuse in children's homes found that local agencies had failed, over a period of years, to safeguard children.

These agencies included the Children's Trust & LADO.

How is it that those in charge at the time of the allegations who failed in their duties are now employed in the same capacity elswhere? Jim Foy, LADO is employed by Rutland Council & James Thomas, Chief executive of the now defunct DCST, is a senior performance advisor in Lichfield.

Many more employees who failed to safeguard children & ignored parents concerns also ran for cover but found cushy jobs in other local authorities.

Another cover-up ensues.

To be honest with you they place all my kids for adoption even though I didn't do anything to harm my kids and now there young people they hate us because of what they was told by social services when it turns out to be a lie..... I dont think closed adoption is in the child's best interests it should be open adoption the child will improve in everything... thanks ... my 2nd daughter and my first son are at the age and wen I spoke to them it nothing to wot people tell u it ain't chocolates n roses at all
Because the social worker added some unnecessary information which is not true at all so now my 2 kids hate me they don't want to know or see me AGAIN ...so be careful guys .....from sheryl
