Activities were great and staff were friendly. Food was disgusting though tasted bland with primary school portions. There was a mini salad bar and a spoon had fallen on the floor (which had visible dirt on it) and the person who was giving out food just picked it up wiped it off and put it back in. Claiming to have a 5 star rating for hygiene (definitely not!) Toilets were also filthy. Claimed to be regularly cleaned but not. Locks were missing off toilet doors and dirt on the sinks. Showers had dirt on the floor in them. I was so disgusted I kept my socks on while showering! They also did not work very well and some didn’t have hot water. I would not recommend it unless you are looking for a few activities then leave. I could not wait to leave!

The activities were great, and the kitchen facilities were also good. But the toilets never seemed to be clean, and the showers didn't work that well. The toilet block near us was closed which meant we had to walk to get the toilets nearest. Don't get me wrong though, the surrounding area was great from what we needed for the Campsite. Thank you for working hard to keep the green spaces maintained.

It has been an amazing outdoor experience for my child, who has been to this activity centre on a school trip. He says the staff were wonderful and very helpful with all the activities. Thank you to all the staff at the campsite. There were lots of activities full of adventure and fun. The food was enjoyable. It's definitely going to be a lasting memory. 😊👍

After visiting the campsite for many years I must say the standards have dropped greatly during our visit last week. Our most recent visit was extremely disappointing. One of the toilets was blocked and flooded, toilet paper on the wall and ceilings, many of the showers were broken and not working, lights in some of the toilets not working, shop and reception closed for several days and management refused to offer any sort of discount. This used to be my favourite campsite however unfortunately we won’t be using site again for a long time.

Most of activities were OK. I didn't care for the dinning room as the chairs were gritty and in need of a good clean. The shower room wasn't designed properly and we had two floods while using it as normal. Also there is no changing room so you have to wrap a towel round you before you go in which is not good. Beds were very gritty too and living room. On some of the activities we had to wait for ages for people to come and show us whats what and at the end of the competition results had to wait again for ages before the results.
