We had a retirement party in the 1882 room which was the perfect size for us. The buffet was tasty and good value for money. We also used the beer garden at the back which had plenty of room for children to play. All the staff were friendly and professional.

Popped into today on the way to a family holiday at centre Parcs. Staff were very welcoming and 9 of us all enjoyed a lovely lunch. Great for the kids too.

We celebrated our sons christening today with a carvery at Penrith Conservative Club. Gary was friendly, professional and entirely accommodating with our requests both before and during our visit there. Nothing was too much trouble, Gary and his team met our every need with a smile, from refrigerating the cake to allowing us early access to decorate the room. Having somewhere that you can trust to help you run any big event is essential, because it is stressful enough! We certainly were not disappointed with the service and the food was delicious and plenty. Thanks to Gary and the team for making our boys big day one to remember!

Great club been a member for 50 years. Good selection of beers friendly staff. Loyalty card scheme for every pound you spend you get 4p on your card. Free entertainment every Sunday in the bar. Membership £15 for senior citizens £10.
