We have had a very entertaining fun day at this place, there was a medieval fair with a bit for everyone, for the kids and grownups, all fun.

Latest visit was on a Heritage Open Day. Lots of people in period dress, a well attended archery area, various stalls, plus a few snack stands, and the chapel was open. The chapel is only open for special events like this, so it's worth checking before you go if you want to see inside when you visit. Other demos and live entertainment were scheduled through the day but I only saw the last hour.

Had my wedding here 28/10/23 and could not be happier with how the day went. The barn for the legal ceremony was absolutely stunning, the reception barn (Cruck barn) was clean and perfect for our day.

We wanted a reasonably priced DIY wedding and had ample time the day before to set the venue up and dress it how we wanted it. Richard was there there the day before and all day for our wedding and was always available to help. Be it from our evening caterers not bringing the right power hookups or us last minute (literally during the reception) deciding we wanted to do some ticketed free drinks behind the bar, Richard sorted it with no fuss or dramas.

If you want a reasonable (and beautiful venue) in MK with staff that go above and beyond, you really can’t do better than Bradwell Abbey! We’ve had amazing feedback from all of our friends/family that it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to and the venue was a massive part of that!

This review is solely based on the Sophie Street food event hosted today, 03/09/2023.

+ Nice venue.
+ Good tasting food.
+ On site medic offering people sun cream, should have been worried about lack of water/soft drink areas.

- Not enough parking.
- Far too busy, venue too small for so many people.
- Queues were horrendously long, I queued 50 minutes for tacos.
- Lots of food vendors, but not enough good variety, not everyone is interested in having Malaysian, Indian and Nepalese when they're all similar to each other.
- Why have 2 vendors selling cakes/sweets almost next to each other.
- Only one vendor selling cold soft drinks, on such a hot day is borderline criminal with how hot and busy it was.
- The one soft drink vendor was serviced by 1 staff member and had a perpetual huge queue.
- Food vendors didn't even sell water.
- Items expensive as you'd imagine.

Wouldn't return.
