The shopping centre is nice and airy, good selection of shops. The car park is a mess, the lifts out of service, the stairs smell of piss and there were 4 druggies shooting up on the stairwell.

Lovely shopping centre right near the bus station with a good selection of stores. It has a good vibe though not too packed so a lovely experience. The 'open air' Muffin Break is very well run and popular and great for people watching, if that's your thing.

We had a fantastic time at The Dolphin this morning. I love the name of the Shopping Centre. This Shopping Centre has got everything you want. The Centre looks dated from the outside but it couldn’t have been more modern inside. It has loads of fabulous stores including Wilko,Deichman,Holland and Barret,Primark etc. You can keep entertained too with Flip Out,Putt Putt Social and Noodle,High Score Arcades and A climbing centre. Also they have Buisness and Educational things such as a library. There are many places to get food from, food from many different Cultures, big name high street brands such as the Lounge(which serves up a flawless and the most perfect breakfast) and family run restaurants. There isn’t anything like McDonald’s or KFC here though,it would be nice to see a Cinema here as well, preferably Vue to replace the Beale’s which is about to close. It is pleasing to see that there are no vacant units at present in the Shopping Centre especially in times of economic hardship. The open air bit of the Centre is lovely too. The Shopping Centre is like Westfield and has the airy feel of Westfield but more compact and calmer. The only slight inconvenience to some but not others is that there is a level crossing between the Shopping Centre and the High Street and when trains are passing there is only a bridge to access the Shopping Centre from the high street and after a train has passed. I love watching trains so this is really nice as you get such a close up view. I would highly recommend The Dolphin.

As with every where there are a number of empty units but they do have a variation of shops and are within easy walking distance to the High Street with more shops.

Came here to do my Christmas shopping and had so many encounters with issues in the centre, lots of security around for teenagers riding bikes and scooters and seemed like no one was trying to stop them swerving in front of people!

Only redeeming factor was the food court upstairs, loved the burger place with their staff! As well as the other stores who are very friendly and helpful

Seems more like a play centre for kids at some points

I have visited the Dophin Centre Poole at least monthly since 1997, and the shops are ever changing. At the moment the poplular store Wilkinsons (Now owned by the Range) is going strong on the top floor and many locals were gutted when company originally closed only for a few profitable ones to reopen. Currently the centre has a Boots, Primark, Wilkinsons, New Look, and Beales to name but a few. Well worth a visit if your in Poole.

It's not a bad place to drink a coffee or have breakfast or lunch .
The best place yo eat is a quite good lunch in the restaurant on the first floor near Wilko .
