A very poor experience compared to other haven holiday sites.|Firstly: cleanliness of the caravan was shocking. Mouldy curtains and the caravan was in need of a bloody good hover. We had food crumbs and hair left by the previous occupants. One of our kids even found a lump of toast under one of the beds while exploring… clearly the seal of approval in the door had just been done without any real cleaning taking place!|Secondly: the smell of cannabis across the site was very strong. I didn’t know if it was just coming from a caravan near by. But the more we explored the park, it was evident that the smell was across the whole facility.|Thirdly: WiFi and phone signal. We would loved to of utilised the home delivery pizza service on one of the evenings. However, it’s an impossible service while the WiFi is nonexistent coupled with equally nonexistent phone coverage. This also goes for making a complaint due to the cleanliness via the app.|Overall, the site is in need of some major improvements to bring the park up to the standard of other haven sites across the uk. |I gave my feedback to haven, who have not responded to my complaint. However, they seem very happy to continue sending me marketing materials advertising “my next trip to Perran sands”….. not on your nelly!

Not long got gone and just had to leave a review ASAP! We have had the BEST time away at Perran Sands. The entertainment was phenomenal, the staff always smiling, and wonderful at their jobs! The caravan was warm, clean and cosy. Lots of fun had in the arcade, my youngest learnt to swim in the pool here on the holiday, which is just amazing. The shop was fairly priced and had what we needed. Overall the site was great, lots of parks and dunes to play on. ||What really made our holiday was the amazing staff though, particularly the entertainment team, our favourite was Aladdin! Spectacular. See you again soon for sure. Enjoy your well deserved time off. Many thanks!

Just back of a Monday to Friday at this site, my brother and his fiancé and two children Brooke and bayley stayed in a gold van in penhallow which we was very impressed with once again. My mum and my husband and I stayed in a cheap van up the top which unfortunately was in pot holes and very muddy, however reception kindly|Moved us to another van with no issues which we appreciated. We was nervous about staying here again as the reviews looked a bit dodgy over the past year, however we had a fantastic time. All the staff are polite and helpful and really go out of their way to ensure your looked after and having a great time. I read another review saying beer prices expensive, however I totally disagree. In most places in Cornwall you’re paying £6.50 plus for a beer so this site very reasonable. Brooke my niece was very fussed over and won two completions! Carl named her the “ cute little vampire thingy” during best dressed for Halloween and she won! His entertaining skills and voice is brilliant and we always go back for him. The rest of the entertainment gang were excellent and clearly enjoy their jobs. We couldn’t get over the constant energy! Arcade is pricey however part of your holiday and it is fantastic in there. Papa John’s was brilliant, slims we didn’t get to do this time, the shop is well stocked and the surf bay we ate at four times and was fantastic throughout. Overall a brilliant holiday and well worth the visit!

Good but room quality was not. Things been stolen by previous people stayed in the caravan. One of them being a TV remote. And the caravan wasn't very clean. Otherwise it's good and has good entertainment.

It is a lovely location however the general cleanliness of the static caravan we stayed it is less than desirable, there was a foul odour throughout the whole of the van that even with windows open and air fresheners used would not budge. The sofas were all stained and we used blankets just to sit down, there were faeces left on the toilet seat and cobwebs and mould in the windows. I do appreciate that we were bringing a dog however that should not lower the standard of accommodation.

The The caravan was very clean, but there was lots of things that were needed. There was no scissors. There was no sharp knife and nowhere. You could actually put a piece of meat to cook. There was no dish for it when we got there. The heating wasn’t on we tried to switch it on and it didn’t happen and there was no hot water. Had to wait for someone to come out for an hour to sort it out. They sorted the heat of the water out but the heating you could put it on it would stay on for a couple of minutes and turned itself off wanna spoil our holiday and stay in for another hour to wait for someone to come and sort that out? We tried to put the television on the television didn’t work only went to radio so had to call somebody out yet again they came and told us how to get onto the television there was no instructions in the caravan whatsoever looking at the bed. There was no mattress cover. We did take our own duvet and I’m glad we did because when we looked at our duvet cover there was blood on it. It’s not what we expected and I’m afraid we’ll never go back to Haven again as it was a very disappointing holiday .

We had a decent time at Haven Perran Sands |The Caravan was clean, a few issues like a hole in the curtain but nothing that would affect our holiday. It was a dog friendly bronze caravan so we weren’t expecting the Ritz.||The site is nice, cars drive around too fast and there isn’t a proper path to walk around like other sites we have been too - a bit dangerous for dogs and kids. ||The flume wasn’t working at the pool which was annoying as otherwise you are just bobbing around in a full pool of people.||Food choice was a little disappointing as a lot of options in the ‘Surf Bay’ were off the menu. |The only real options are very unhealthy, fried chicken, fish and chips or pizza, which is fine for a few nights but not every day. ||Staffing was low as it was October and not the height of the summer season. It was just about OK but the wait for drinks was long in some cases - up to 25 minutes for a Coke.||The entertainment area is good, with loads of things for kids to do. We enjoyed a bit of Bingo and enjoyed the arcade.||We had a go at the Archery lesson. Izzy was very good with the kids. ||Mini golf was good fun too.||The beach is lovely and we enjoyed walking over to Perranporth. We had some lovely food at The Watering Hole on Perranporth beach.||We would definitely be back to give it a shot again but fear in high season we wouldn’t get a seat anywhere in the Live Lounge or be able to book many activities.
