Fabulous church and it currently has around 100 personally decorated Christmas trees of all sorts and sizes given by local organisations. Car park at the back, and well worth a visit, albeit the wonderful Christmas Carol services are all finished. The hall also does a CAMRA beer festival around October time.

A very peaceful place to visit and it's great it's always open for prayer. One does need to be part of their particular denomination to take part fully in services.

As a newcomer to the area and a wheelchair user I was keen to find an accessible church that could provide an attractive peaceful place for me to get to know and somewhere that I felt I could go to by myself to have a safe quiet place in which I could sit and pray or enjoy peaceful personal reflection. In my opinion, St Aldhelm's provided me with this an more...even the offer of a cuppa and just as importantly for me accessible loos in
Their community hall. There would appear to be a wide variety of
both services and

community activities resonating from this church, I look forward to my next visit

Tea and coffee. Lots of services even on week nights eg. Thursdays 7pm. Nice vicars/priests/not sure what they call them. They care about many charitable causes and publicise them. You can light nice candles near the altar. Its open all day, every day i think. The church hall behind it is always busy with various groups and activities, not necessarily to do with the church. I havent tried sunday services but expect would be nice.

Lovely building, nice people and a great vicar putting the church at the heart of the community. Traditional Anglican in style.
