Lovely to meet Julie, the Home Manager at Bannatyne Lodge. The home is well presented, busy and has a happy, friendly atmosphere.
I really recommend this home, if you're looking for residential and nursing care in the Peterlee area.

Bannatyne Lodge is looking lovely, there are still some apples on the trees that residents are going to pick this week. Meanwhile manager Julie is making sure that any chances of infection are being stopped in their tracks with free mini hand sanitisers to all visitors.

Posting on behalf of Marjorie Hutchinson. My husband Joe was in the home for just over a week for palliative care. We found all the staff to be very caring, helpful, professional and always helped him maintain his dignity. I would especially like to mention Andrea and Angela who looked after him and us with great kindness and empathy. Also Gary who whilst doing a very professional job also made us laugh and Ugo (sorry if we've misspelt your name). Thank you all for helping us at such an awful time.

My mam was going into a care home for respite in easington we did not put my mam in this home due to very poor impressions the manager give us and Spoke to us. So we managed to get my mum into this care home in Peterlee What a massive difference the staff where so much more well coming and friendly the stuff keep us informed all the time with what is going on and look after my mum very well the Meals Are lovely and my mum enjoys them. I Would not hesitate to recommend this care home as all of the people Who work there oh great so much so my mum asked if she could stop in the care home permanently which she is now a permanent resident.and we have Peace of mind knowing my mam is well looked after.

I would like to thank all the staff who looked after my mam you were amazing and you give our mam the best care nothing was too much for you you trat my mother like she was family I will miss you all your lead nurse was out standing Andrea always did the best for my mam my family will be eternal grateful
